Ah yes, the good ol' team A beat team C by more than team B beat team C so team A will kill team B.
Almost as fool proof as the transative property in sports
Well not only that Transitive Property, but after watching these teams play, I wasn't impressed by Richmond, but when App came to Elon (I realize not the most hostile environment) I left the game feeling lucky that the score was only 27-10. I left yesterday's Elon @ Richmond game thinking how didn't we win or at least force OT.
I've watched Richmond play 3 times this year and have YET to be impressed with them. But they just win, baby.

Any word on ticket sales for the game? I haven't heard of what App's exact allotment was but I'm expecting a lot of the Mountaineer faithful to make the trip up to Richmond. Hate I'm gonna miss this one, my gut feeling is that it's going to be a classic.

I have heard the allotment was 5000 tickets. Being given to Yosef Club first. As to how many have sold, not sure. But, did see on the MMB that at the UR ticket office, sales have been good. Some UR fans have speculated the game could be a sell out. With the threat of wet/ wintry weather, that could change.

According to David Jackson on Mountaineer Talk, there expecting around 6,000 ASU fans up in Richmond and the band is making the trip as well.

Yup, many App fans are not Yosef members and are buying tickets through UR. I haven't gotten mine through Yosef Club yet, so I may have to go through UR if Yosef sells out.

Wow, linebackers and return teams winning the game for Richmond. That's interesting...I'll be at the game so I hope your prediction is wrong.
It's more about other factors. I think App is the better team on paper, but Richmond is at home, they already showed they can stop a banged-up Armanti last year, and they have a knack for winning ugly. It Armanti throws 3 picks like he did against SCSU, the Mountaineers will lose. Also, if both QBs struggle (as they did in the first round), Richmond is more likely to have success with the conventional running game because App's run defense is weaker.

Either way, I'm hitting the road to invade Richmond with 6000 of my closest ASU friends. GO APPS!

App is not playing to win, and they're not playcalling worth a damn. 4th and a foot, and they put AE in the shotgun to draw Richmond offsides. A FREAKING FOOT!!! They're really lacking some killer instinct.
