Semi Final Game #1: William & Mary @ Villanova Game Thread

I have always liked Villanova's basketball team...So by proxy I am pulling for Villanova in this one...but I don't think there will be more than a 6 point differential either way.

Well, you lost the stat battle pretty hard...won the turnover battle, and that was probably the difference. I think this game is pretty much a toss up...I won't be suprised if W&M wins, but I gotta pick a side I have to go Villanova. But, if W&M wins, and App beats us (yeah right) I will go for W&M...same for Villanova. App has the championships already, I like the new blood.

They beat us in stats because we had them beat going into the second half... not too much stat padding. We were dead even at the half in total yards... just blowing them out on the score board.








I am pulling for the Griz if Nova loses and App if they happen to win. Fuck the CAA south unless its Nova is what I always say.

Dunno about that. You'll have to dodge bullets and priests from your car to the stadium. Bobbing and weaving...probably add on another 30-60 seconds.

Tough to cheer for either school... I was in Richmond at the CAA final a couple years ago pulling for The Tribe against George Mason. Folks from W'burg know how that turned out. And, BTW, you had a nice caravan of support heading down I-64 that night. Last year, I was a temporary 'Nova fan cheering against JMU at the Pressbox in Missoula. So, just going to sit back and enjoy the first battle of the weekend. Good Luck to both

The key to the game is simple, do not let Villanova jump out to a quick lead off of cheap TDs, which they did last week.

Tough defense and ball control win this game, and WM is quite efficient at both, I like our chances a whole lot more than the JMU game in 2004.
