Glad to see you've got Lissemore listed as on the radar. The Tribe's strong season certainly helped his visibility, but he really launched himself last spring with a knockout workout for a few scouts at W&M. Ran a 4.80 40 at 292. You might know for sure, but my guess is they are looking at him as 4-3 strong side DE, or a 3-4 weak side DT.
Cox is exactly the player I was thinking about.
Depends on the team but I really think he is athletic enough to be a 3-4 DE, which would put him at the inside shade of the 5 technique.

Well good then. Pro Day stats were off, which made me think otherwise. The 40 was a 4.39, and the standing broad jump was an astonishing 11'8".
Will be interesting to see where Lissemore lands. His two INTs this year showed alot, as he came from the DT spot well into the flat in coverage. The one against Northeastern was a diving one-hander with little reaction time.

Yeah I was not trying to short change his numbers but was just posting what would be considered impressive numbers for a CB. In fact he measured at 6002, 188 pounds, ran a 4.39 and 4.42 in the 40, has a 36 1/2 inch vertical, 11'8 broad jump, 4.11 short shuttle, and 6.80 3-cone.
Lissemore's other pick was in the playoffs and it was impressive too. I think if he runs a 4.8 around 290-300 pounds he might have a shot at going in the late rounds. It will be interesting to see if he gets added late to the combine.
Tracy got most of the headlines, but in my book, Lissemore was the heart and soul of the DL. Tracy had a good year and a great career------but this year Lissmore just stuffed the middle of the line. For a good example, look at the SIU game and the stats of their marquis RB. Lissemore disrupted that entire flow (other players obviously shined as well).
..mythical creature with the head of an eagle and the body of a lion......hey NCAA, the thing has feathers!!
I happened across the game mid-fourth quarter. The first 10 minutes (real time, not game time) that it was on, ALL the big plays were by FCS players. Makes an FCS fan proud.
