I have though. Sac has definitely been on the rise, but I've yet to see them get over the .500 hump. You guys always lose a game you shouldn't. Trust me, I've been rootin' for Sac to turn that corner, but it hasn't happened yet. If EWU had any semblance of an average defense last year, we would have rolled Sac by 35.

Guilty as charged. However, please notice that I did not even include Delaware in my first message.
If the Blue Hens can become irrelevant in such a short period of time, then obviously the Monarchs have an opportunity to do just the opposite in the same time frame.
However, better to be a "has been" like Delaware than a "never was" like Towson. Here's to Andy finding his red stapler in his new office cubicle in the basement of his worksite.

I'm on board with Sac possibly finishing in the upper third of the BSC this year, but come on dude.
The upper third of the BSC over the last 10 years has been Montana (119 wins), EWU (67 wins) and Montana St (60 wins). SacSt (39 wins; last winning season 2000) would displace which in 2010?

Well it's at 2 and counting but sooner or later we'll meet the Griz in the playoffs at the Rock instead of the Icebox Asylum known as Griz Stadium.
The CAA will spend all of its time beating up on their own. Montana will be strong again next with the only real question marks on how they replace some of their offensive line. They did change coaches which will result in more aggressive play calling on offense and defense (heavy blitzing). They will have a real shot to get back to the NC game.
The CAA is strong but each year it is a different team that steps up, but I think that teams like Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois have just as good a shot at the NC game.
Just to stay grounded, let's recognize that there is no single program in the CAA that is anywhere close to where Montana's program is. Seriously.
Well, I suppose Delaware is reasonably close. But Montana's program over time is clearly a cut above any program in the CAA.
