Strategy now at work... paranoia about a poster who previously challenged their thinking. Not unusual... prior posters have been accused of being "Harold R", "absolutehen", "HenGrad07", and other anti-status -quo challengers. Instead of debating ideas... the KCKlan sees terrorists lurking on a keyboard in an undisclosed location.

The goal is to direct attention away from the main issues being addressed. Notice that none of the facts presented regarding the current status of UD football have been refuted. THIS is what the GoHens Board became... a planned attempt by "KC and the Sunshine Gang" to discredit anyone raising issues....not by discussing the issues but by attacking the messengers.
There have been innumerable posters who have prefaced their remarks by indicating they usually just read rather than post since they choose not to be attacked.
There are long time posters who have left the Board rather than endure constant personal attacks as well as juvenile rants.

So....let's see... there were issues presented regarding the discontent of some UD fans... actual issues... not paranoia about a ghost who continues to spook the booster club. "The whole world is watching".

Come on, Bangy, just admit it - you couldn't exist civily with others, you couldn't resist damning UD and the coaches and employees and even the players in most every post and thread, and you were the biggest reason why HR felt the need to close the board (despite throwing you off the board on at least two other ocassions). While most of us could exercise the adult virtue of restraint and could respect HR's repeated pleas to keep the site from descending into what it became, you just couldn't stop yourself from repeating your attacks, on UD and other posters, over and over and over again. Even when people ignored you you still made pointed attacks at them. Face it, you just couldn't help yourself to be an ass - it's just who you are.

As for the "issues", you make it seem like the vast majority of posters ignored the issues. When in reality, most posters, myself included, were quite vocal about and concerned about 1)KC's need to win (i.e. playoffs) this year or probably start looking elsewhere 2) that UD should be playing an FBS team at least every other year 3) that UD shouldn't have more than 1 patsy on the OOC schedule (and having WCU and Duquesne both this year went one too far) 3) that the administration was risking fanbase revolt by potentially jacking up season tix price to 150% without a change in direction (i.e. FBS versus FCS status). How is that ignoring the issues? How does that make someone considered to be Sunshine?

Heck, in some ways, I'm glad you're posting elsewhere these days. While I could respect and abide by HR's intentions for his site and I went out of my way to ignore and not respond to you on GoHens as you repeatedly disrespected and mocked HR and his work (to the point of shutting down his site), this site by no means is worried about being sullied by such exchanges. So by all means, welcome aboard.

Just saw it myself, very disappointing. It was a great board, it's the reason why UD posters don't visit the CAAZone anymore. I agree with HensRock though that the direction it's gone, especially since the season ended has been straight downhill. Very vocal anti-Keeler group clashing with the non-anti-Keeler group.

There was another site, bluehenfootball.com, that closed its message board a while ago b/c of degenerative issues. Hopefully, gohens will return as the season gets closer, I miss it already.

UD should play a FBS opponent every other year.... I would repeat my preference that in the non-FBS years, UD play a home/home against a higher tier FCS. I would also prefer a variety of FBS opponents...not just Navy... within an easy day's drive...we've discussed possible opponents before.

UD should limit cupcakes to one per year. NEC, Patriot, MEAC, Top 20 DII...rotating... no multiple year commitments including Delaware State... all home only.... DelState every three years would be sufficient to give every player and student a one time opportunity to experience the "Route One Extravaganza".

Keeler's contract runs until 2017 I believe. I agree he really needs to make a playoff run this year. Notice you couch your belief if he does not..."he should be looking elsewhere"... we both recognize that his contract is not about to be paid off by UD. That is reality.

Ticket prices... Not as upset as you are about the proposed prices per se IF the schedule is upgraded. In addition, when the CAA reorganizes the issue of all the Virginia schools being all home or all away will balance the schedule to eliminate the lame home schedule that exists this year. For tickets, I've previously recommended that UD fans who have been loyal season ticket holders for 20+ years should be exempt from increases and seat relocations as long as the tickets remain in their names and they attend.

Look for the ghost of North Hen’s pattern below...if he doesn't follow it, he's admitting he was an ass on the other board:
1) Bangy makes a personal attack using 8th grade humor (this from a person who will remind you that he is a looking for a challenge )
2) Wait for response...then, while emphatically using capital letters and lots of quotation marks, accuse the other person of making a personal attack
3) Tell everyone that he knows a whole bunch of people who are secretly backing him up
4) Ignore reality and post some incorrect information
5) Ignore the people pointing out his inaccuracies and continue with personal attacks
6) Claim that anyone who is against him is part of a conspiracy
7) Attack the host of the site
8) Claim he is "done" with something and will not post again
9) Repeat 1-8

Update: Bangy has only recently learned how to Google things. He is actually starting to post just about anything in order to try to sound smart. The recent stuff would be a bit of fun if he'd leave out 1-8 above...but that is not Bangy.
