haha I agree a JMU poster on CAAZone thinks these facilities are nicer....
Bridgeforth 2010 season
Bridgeforth 2011 season even better
Foreman Field
Wa-Griz stadium
Texas State
Appy
Liberty with their additions
Bill and Larry - I like their field house
Youngstown
The Tub - tradition and size
Towson - about even
Jacksonville State in 2010
McNeese St - maybe
Multiple Ivies if you count them
UVA - my bad, not technically FCS
Top 20 college soccer stadiums
Montana State

I understand his exuberance at having a new on-campus stadium. I give him a pass on the comment. It's a nice little stadium that serves Richmond's purposes very well. To say there aren't better stadiums in FCS, as we all know, simply isn't true.
He's just trying to get his fan base pumped for the new on-campus digs. I can't blame him. But, his comment is way off base considering ODU's are pretty good, what Liberty is building is way better, and JMU's is pretty sweet although it won't be finished until next season. Here are the latest pics JMU posted on facebook.

Robins Stadium is going to be a nice facility, but I think when its all done JMU's stadium will be the nicest facility by far.
Well I think he was really talking about the quality of the facility, disregarding the size. I mean does Delaware, for example, have a spectacular new press box, or luxury suites right on the side lines? What about the surround sound system which includes over 50 speakers around the Stadium? Or the stunning video scoreboard. Or all the new restrooms and concession stands, which include close circuit TV's so you do not miss any of the game? How about beautiful half time facilites for each team? What of the beautiful brick work which allows the Stadium to blend into one of the most beautiful college campuses there is? Which other stadiums are nestled inbetween a grove of trees and collegiate gothic college buildings? What other stadiums looks out across a campus like UR's? While, I agree there is some hyperbole is Miller's statement, disregarding size, what stadiums are much nicer? The only major default I think Robins Stadium has is the fact that the track is still there, which pushed the stands up and away from the action some, but they certainly mitigated that by raising them up enough, that one can easily see over the players. Also the endzone bleacher stands, which have not been installed yet, will be inside the track, right on top of the action.
I dont think anybody isn't saying its a nice facility, it certainly is but the nicest? It would have been different if he said it was "one of the nicest..." Asking people to find nicer facilities? From what I've seen, I think Appy State has the nicest facilities in the FCS...when I say that I mean from their practice facilities to their stadium. Robins stadium will definitely be top 3 in the CAA along with the new JMU stadium and Foreman Field.
