I haven't seen a single Liberty fan that has said the auto-bid will come without a fight. All we've said is that it will come. Though I'll tell you what: in the list of teams expected to compete for the league title, I've NOT seen Gardner-Webb on the list. It all revolves around Liberty, Stony Brook, CCU, and Chuck South. I wonder what THOSE schools have to say about GWU.

What, do you think we're all **** clueless on this site? We're well aware of Liberty football and have been for years. It's great that you're getting better and finally built some infrastructure for your football team. That doesn't mean we're all going to bow down and anoint you to any special place in the FCS world. Win a championship or two and you'll gain some respect.

Oh we aren't expecting any gifts we will be happy to earn every win.

Yeah man the pairing are set regionally without conference members playing each other and THEN the bid packages are opened to see who will be the host team.

Of course the NCAA knows that UD, MT, and App are gonna have pretty decent bids and the revenue that will be made on ticket sales (which goes to the NCAA) will always give a big edge for at least that first home game.

They do. I replied to Silenoz's post before reading the rest of the thread and seeing that others had already set the record straight.

Liberty wins the NEC they likely won't have a 1st round bye (8-3 or 9-2 they won't, 10-1 they would), so their bid will come into play with whatever other 13-20 teams they are paired with in the 1st round. 1st round:
-NEC AQ will likely be paired with Patriot AQ.
-Big South AQ could be paired with MEAC AQ, OVC AQ if its EKU, a 3rd So-Con (2nd At Large), or a 4th CAA (3rd At-Large).





They win their 1st round game they will be @ one of the seeds in the 2nd round.

2008 against the SoCon we were 2-0 vs Western, and ranked Elon. Citadel that year went 1-1 against these two teams. So all that matters is that we would beat your precious Bulldogs

Our team and entire program is on the rise. We dont deserve to be in the Big South.

This one of those perspective things.
You see in this process you guys have to come in and suffer the bad jokes, and all the other shit you've heard a thousand times before. I know it's got to be sickening but it happens in the learning the new guys process.

Now, on the other side of that coin we have to suffer through all the old jokes about guys like Citdog and The Citadel and so forth. I can not relate to you how many times that "Sit dog, SIT" line has been used.

It's new to you and you found it funny. I get that. Thing is that a lot of the stuff that is hacky old shit to you has the same effect on some here.

We just gotta suffer though it (both of us) for a while and we'll get the hang of it.
