Good Lord. I didn't get to follow any of the game 'cause I was at a kid's birthday party, but did Delaware really kick Spider ass as much as the score and the stats would indicate? :o

Haven't even been there that much. I am disappointed in the overall AGS direction. If I want to view total sterility, I'll go to the gelding stable at Delaware Park.

I don't even take offense to name calling. For instance I don't take issue to being called a Conservative Bastard as I know that coming from a fellow Hens' fan it is only said with the utmost respect. :D :D      ;) ;) ;)

So you're saying that a Richmond team that lost to Virginia and #7 UD isn't in your top 25...so what about the the 2-2 Grizz? Where would you put them with their impressive season thus far?

We kill bad teams, no love because they are bad teams...we kill teams ranked in the top ten and we get no love because if they lost to us then they must be over-rated. I think the heat in AZ is getting to you.

There was no asskicking until the 40 yd deep slant the 1st play after UR tied the game. The stats say the offense was balanced, but the running game did not jell until mid-3rd quarter. UD had no answer for Smith at tailback and the only thing that saved them was his number didn't get called more than it did. Richmond looked to be in trouble and UD let them back into the game on the last drive of the 1st half, not scoring on the 1st drive of the 2nd half and letting UR tie the game on another long drive. 40 minutes into this game both teams were in it. Score was a ass-kicking but the game did not feel like until late 3rd.

The plus for Delaware were there on both sides of the ball. Delvin look great after the 1st quarter, the DL was knocking Corp down and Hayes @ RB looked as good has he has all year. The FG Perry missed from 40 was very impressive; against a good breeze and 1/3 way up the post. He can make a 50 yarder.

Richmond will not be in my top 25 and neither will Montana at this point.

That's great. Fortunately, its a long way until its time to pick the playoff bracket. Additionally you aren't involved in that process. Good work on putting together a poll though. :thumb:

Without sounding like a jerk...I'd rather face Montana or UNI in the playoffs than I would Richmond. I will be accussed of East Coast Bias but the CAA is loaded. Richmond is a very, very good team. Just because we beat them doesn't make them bad. By the end of the year, what team in outside the CAA will have a tougher schedule than us. We have played two top 10 team and beat them soundly. We haven't played an FBS team, but unless you beat an FBS team, and an FBS team WORTH beating, then you don't have a leg to stand on.

Smith and Corp are stars. This Richmond team goes 6-5 in a brutal CAA and kicks some ass next years.

Make that 1-2. Div II doesn't count. A win by 3 points at home over Sac State is all the Grizz have to hang their hat on.

Maybe, but they better shore up their D-line. Our O-line just gets bigger and better next year.
