Liberty didn't have any energy due to Bill Gillespie our strength and conditioning coach. He even took the blame after the game because he had told them to stay up all night the night before and sleep on the bus ride and so they stayed up all night...and none of them could sleep on the bus ride. There lack of sleep had a huge part to do with there lack of performance. Liberty didn't even play close to standard that day anyone on the football team AND the coach will tell you that. In fact, he already has...Neither the defense nor the offense even played to standard, let alone to there potential.UAalum72 wrote:RMU had (not many) more yard rushing, more yards passing, held onto the ball better, punted better, and there was no weather excuse. You can argue with me all you want. Come on down to Liberty for that 1st playoff round and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about

This might be the funniest post I've ever read on a message board.

Re: My First Crack at the Playoff Bracket!
I think most everyone knows the griz are always likely to stay home rather than travel for the playoffs since they can provide a big crowd and therefore generate money for the NCAA. O'Day's recent e-mail, assuming it's even in the ballpark, shows why.JayJ79 wrote:you really think that Montana has an argument for a seed? riiiiight.grizzaholic wrote:
It has been proven over and over. The Southland comes to Missoula to end their seasons. It is just written in stone. It is just the way things are. Dogs chase cats. I kill wolves. Ursus likes D-cups. Willie, WR, SH are kickers....and suck. It is just one of those things.
Though given their attendance tendancies, I could see the committee making a point to place them in the bracket so that they don't have to face a seed until as late as possible (and thus could host an additional game).
It makes me wonder if there is an incentive to put the griz in the first round of the playoffs rather than getting a bye - assuming they are not getting a seed. I'm sure the griz can outbid most bubble teams...

That would be something if South Carolina State (with a win over Wofford) had to go to Boone three straight years

By the way I'm not cracking on RMU. Talking bad about other team's isn't something I USUALLY like to do. I fully expect ALL RMU fans to stick up for RMU. That goes to all other fans and there schools.

I'm with you, man. Once our trainer told the team not to get hurt, so they didn't tackle guys and we lost.kuntryboimike wrote:Ya'll just don't know when to stop.
