WRONG. If NDSU pulls the upset. Which they did.SuperHornet wrote:Venus: You were jumping on the fact that SFA can't be EWU's QF opponent. I was jumping on the fact that EWU can't have a QF home game unless SEMO pulls the 12-5 upset, which I don't believe will happen. We're essentially saying the same thing, but coming from different angles.Mvemjsunpx wrote:
You didn't get it, either, did ya?
EWU can't play SFA in the quarters.
(And EWU will get a home QF game if NDSU wins because they're the #5 seed)

App/Nova is the no-brainer here. Kidd Brewer will turn out the best crowd and Appalachian State does carry name recognition for FCS.
I have no heartburn whatsoever with that choice. The only wildcard is that there will also be an ESPN game on Saturday. If they save App State for Saturday, then UD/UNH would be the next logical choice, IMHO, with Woff/GaSou a close third. No offense to our west coast friends, but I don't really want a red rug on FCS primetime.

Check your terminology. I believe the former is properly termed a 'firebush'.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:They don't want Ursus' red rug on FCS primetime, but they want a red rug.

I'd bet Woff-GSU will be the 2pm EST Sat game and NDSU-EWU at 3:30EST. The other 2 should be the TV games.

Agreed. You run down the list of FCS venues... Wa-Griz (oops), Kidd Brewer, The Tubbluehenbillk wrote:I'd bet Woff-GSU will be the 2pm EST Sat game and NDSU-EWU at 3:30EST. The other 2 should be the TV games.

FWIW, I'd rather play on Saturday. Friday night's gonna be c-c-c-cold!

Argh. It's going to be flipping cold. Chance of snow in the long range forecast.
