Re: Wanna good laugh?
All indications are NDSU is on the rise. last year I predicted and 8-3 and the Kansas win was one of them. It didnt work out that way because the MVFC had such parity. NDSU was able to parlay their modest won/loss record into a successful season that got national attention.
This year NDSU will put a little distance between them and the rest of the pack. The QB situation is solved. The team is young. There is a lot of talent and the arrogance of the BISON fans is a pittance compared to the arrogance of some of the folks here.
The BISON will get the auto and make a run at the title. If bf is out there someplace he may be able to derail the plan. If he isnt there is no reason to believe the future isnt bright. After all we have entered the 4th Dynasty of BISON Football.
BISON fans are no different than other fans from other schools, bisonator excluded of course, except for their reasonable and sportsman like approach to the game. They can see how good the BISON are and they have the right to be as optimistic as they please. The sky's the limit with BISON Football!! GO BISON!!

Like another poster said earlier, we have everyone coming back except for 2-3 players offense and defense combined. 8-3 is a record I can see NDSU obtaining at the end of the season. D.J. McNorton is easily one of the best RBs in the nation as he proved throughout the playoffs. Steadily but, Shirley, we will get there

According to this article I'm not the only one... http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnf ... id=4401516 When they list the 10 best in FCS...and they have DJ as one of them, then yes he is one of the best. His statistics from last year show it and the impact he had for the BISON through the season and definitely in the playoffshoundawg wrote:DJ McNorton one of the best RBs in the nation?NDSUFREAK wrote:Like another poster said earlier, we have everyone coming back except for 2-3 players offense and defense combined. 8-3 is a record I can see NDSU obtaining at the end of the season. Re: Wanna good laugh?
I thought McNorton was a pretty good back. Tough dude and ran hard. Before the quarter-final game I didn't agree with the Bison folks who claimed he was a lot better than Jones, but he's a good back nonetheless.

The dual running attack of DJ McNorton & Sam Ojuri proves to be the difference offensively, along with the emergence of a real leader behind center. The Bison discover that ball-control wins games. The young receiving corps contributes greatly to this.
The Bison linebackers & defensive backs prove to be the class of the league with their athleticism & quickness. The defensive line raises hell for opposing quarterbacks.
We might lose one...but it will be a surprise if it happens.
We'll be in the national championship game against one of the eastern powers...and the outcome will depend on the development of our passing game.

lmao. I suppose 220+ yards in a half shut those folks up pretty fastEWURanger wrote:I thought McNorton was a pretty good back. Tough dude and ran hard. Before the semi-final game I didn't agree with the Bison folks who claimed he was a lot better than Jones, but he's a good back nonetheless.
