1) EWU. If we beat them, it usually means an un-shared BSC title for the Griz.
2) Weber State. A couple wins over the Griz, and suddenly they act like their **** doesn't stink. Plus, they play dirty.
3) Cal Poly. Beautiful stadium....great city. Got to watch the Griz game there last year and would go back in a heartbeat. Also, can't wait for the ASU game at the Rock in a couple years.
4) JMU. Highlight of the last 10 years was the revenge game against #1 JMU a couple years ago AT JMU...even though the refs did their damnest to give that game to JMU, JMU was busy handing the ball over to the Griz all day long. Epic.

And the Griz players dont? I believe the "dirty play" the last few years has been both sided, not to mention, in 08 in Ogden, how many late Personal Fouls did the Griz commit at the end of the game, there was quite a lot, I know I was there, I remember the Weber fans booing the Griz players for it too. Also I believe it all started with Montana's chop block on a certain Weber defensive player.

Anyway back to the topic.

Team I'd like to beat the most in conf- Montana easily

Team I'd like to see fail in conf- None, I'd like to see teams in the sky do well and make the sky look good

Team I'd like to play thats not in conf- I'd like Weber to start playing games vs UNI and other MVC teams and some Southland conf teams to, since I know App St would never come to Ogden

Team I'd like to beat in playoffs not in conf- W & Mary. I would like some revenge for our last match up

I'd also throw in that I'd love to get a shot at UNI... who has single-handedly wrecked our playoff run not once, not twice, but three times. We are 0-3 vs. the Panthers with every game a playoff game at the UNIDome that came down to the final possession.

They've just had our number despite being even matched in every outing.

I'd like to see them come to Cheney for us to get that monkey off our back.

1). Would have to be Cal Poly just because out of all the Great West programs they have been the most consistent and as of the past few seasons the games have been relatively close and hard fought. Highly respect the Mustangs and will root for them if SUU falls short (what can I say the Triple Option is the best offense in football). In a sense they are the Montana of our conference. .

2). Would have to say UC-Davis but I would really like to see all GWC teams do well, only mention the Aggies since last year a few of their fans that were over on AGS last season claimed we didnt have a chance to beat them and out of all the teams in the GWC they seem to take us granted the most.

3). Since we are going to be in the Big Sky I wont say any Big Sky school (which would have been my original answer) I also would have mentioned Texas State but they are off to the WAC so guess that leaves me with either the Dakota States or San Diego.

4). Well in regards to this season (where I really do feel we have a shot to get to the playoffs IF we can sweep the GWC again or maybe if we go 3-1 in conference) would really like to see how we stack up against another conferences teams like the CAA or the SOCON, would be great to smack down a CAA school in the first round

I’ll do 2, 1 for current BSC and one for post expansion.
Current BSC:

1. to BEAT that are in your conference?
NAU. It was either them or UNC…we haven’t done a whole lot of beating until recently so the choices were pretty slim.

2. to SEE FAIL that are in your conference?
Weber State. A lot of posters talked a lot of shit for really no reason before last season. They marked us as a guarantee win and did nothing but bash Sac State left and right. It was very satisfying to serve them up with an ass whooping at home last season. It was even more satisfying to know it wasn’t needed to go on their board and rub it in their faces, they knew karma slapped them a good one without someone reminding them.

Also to add on to what AZ said, when I was still a student, it was a battle for the basement between us and WSU. It just seems like the recent success has gone straight to their heads. Obvious there are some cool WSU posters, but I am pretty shocked at the level or arrogance on their board.

Here's mine:

1. Montana- great program and great fans. They've had enough success that beating them is always a feat a nrecognized nationally. Plus, we don't beat them that often.

2. Montana State- it feels like their fansbase acts as though they are on par with Montana, but we tend to beat them every year (last year's debacle excluded). Plus, they fired Mike Kramer.

3. Appalachian State- such a powerful program and we've only played them once as we have eluded one another in the playoffs most years. This last year would have been a cool rematch had Villanova not upset them.

4. North Dakota State- Notre Dame, Alabama, and USC all rolled into one with a fan base that knows it and sounds like an NAACP attorney blasting their in-state rivals. Yuck.

You'd fire Kramer too if you what was going on at the time.

1. Montana: Don't need to say much.

2. EWU: They were in the right place at the right time last year in the playoffs. Perfect storm for them. We beat the snot out of them in both halves last year (the first with Taiwan). It will be the same this year with an even better MSU team. Going to be nice beating them again on the maxi-pad.

3. I'd like to play teams East of the Mississippi. Don't really have any "likes" yet seeing as how we never really do but I'd like to play App again.

4. Furman was nice. Would like to beat NDSU for revenge.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but next year EWU gets back to doing what they do best against MSU; winning. Last time MSU won in Cheney was in 1990. Start of a new 7 game win streak in 2011 for EWU.

1. Montana/MSU. Always nice to beat the Montana schools, even though it's a pretty regular occurrence with the Bobcats. Would like to sweep them this year like we did in 2005.
2. MSU/Weber/UM. Always fun watching their fans make excuses and turn on each other.
3. Cal Poly, although this will be the last year they're not in our conference. Outside of CP, pretty much any FCS team not in the GW, since we don't get to play very many. Looking forward to the USD game.
4. Any CAA team, and App State. Would like to extend the streak against the CAA, and notch our first win over ASU. Also like Dopa mentioned, would love to beat UNI. They always squeak one out against us.

1. TIE:Charleston Southern/Liberty- with such an intense rivlary these games are always intense, and exciting. They truly are a football game where it's anyones game, up until the last second.

2. TIE: Charleston Southern and Liberty- See #1. Also, they are very good games, neither team holds back but I love to watch Liberty fizzle out.

3. Furman- great game to watch and FU has a great atmosphere at its games
