Opponents WINS for NDSU:

Illinois State (2-2) beat Morehead State and SDSU (Morehead boasts wins over Valpo and KY Christian - SDSU is 1-4)
Minnesota (1-4) beat 0-4 Miami (OH)
St. Francis (1-4) has a one-point win over Morehead (see a trend)
Lafayette (1-4) has a win over Penn.

NDSU may be a good team. But there are probably 25 teams out there that would be 4-0 against that schedule.
These alternate universe arguments always make me want to watch The Science Channel. Maybe I can find a show with some hot Schrodinger's cat action.

Classic let-down game too. But hey this is the division where you win it on the field!

Thats just untrue. Im sure if you check the offical ranking of the teams in question you will see Lakes is absolutely correct. NDSU is scheduling intra-divisional. Im sure you are aware of that. Its confusing why you would misrepresent that?

The NDSU BISON are 4-0 and the best team in the division.

Both of those squads had scholarship equivancies going to more players than NAIA and D2. In fact, both teams are eligible for the FCS Playoffs. There is no comparison between those teams and any NAIA or D2 team in any way when it comes to FCS football.

St Francis offers 27 scholarships, that is DII level. Lafayette offers from what I've heard from their fans, around 50 or so. Lafayette is a solid FCS program that has hit some tough times, they'll be back in the FCS playoffs sooner than later.

St. Francis does well with the scholarships thay have. They had the #16 FCS running back in the nation when they came to Fargo and they regularly play teams in the FCS accross the spectrum. They are a counter and a respectable opponent.

Which UNDS has failed to do since moving up, and yet, you continue to sit here and crow about how they're the best team in the country. Why don't you just wait until they prove it in January? :coffee:

27 isn't even D2 level.

We beat a NAIA and a DII team? Which one is Drake in? Thats right...the FCS!!! We beat 1 DII team this year, 1 FCS team and 1 RANKED FCS team. Which ranking teams has NDSU beat?? Minnesota ranked 100 in the FBS? St. Francis ranked about 90 or so. And Lafayette ranked even lower than that. UND has a tougher SOS than NDSU buddy.

only your delusional mind thinks that a

D2 transitional from naia, drake a non scholorship school, and suu (a team that lost to 1-4 ) is better than a BIG 10-BCS SCHOOL & Illinois State in a power FCS confernce ??? your on drugs.

also.. now we know how the coaches poll votes.. look at the AGS homer grid, its obvious that great west voters are putting you douchebags in.

Then I must be one of those douchebags because I vote in the AGS polls. I do it objectively. This was the first week I voted UND in the polls and only because they beat a ranked team...on the road as 19 1/2 point underdogs. Enjoy your Minnesota win if you can't reach the playoffs because you are going against competition now. No more St. Francis or Lafayette's on the grid now. Its all MVFC which I don't believe NDSU has ever won. But then again they only won 1 GWFC title in 4 years of trying.

Keep telling yourself that, JiBBerish. It doesn't make it true, but maybe it helps you sleep at night.

Is it??? According to Sagarin NDSU is ranked 220 out of 246 teams..UND is 144 in SOS.

ISUr is the only team NDSU has played that is ranked higher than UND. Minnesota is ranked 2 spots lower than UND.

UND-NDSU people please shut up! Yes UND to date has had a better SOS, but by end of the season NDSU should have the better SOS since UND plays two losing D2 teams, and gets Norther Colorado and two 1-3 FCS teams. I think the next 5 games for UND the teams have a total of 3 wins to date. So NDSU fans get ready to see UND move up the polls because they could very well go 9-2 this season and have as many wins as you.
