The main point of the post was that the EWU posters we were seeing on Bisonville were assholes. Nothing against you at all......... You sound like a passionate and well informed fan. Best of luck to those kids that were hurt. The karma that is a bitch is related to the folks that drop by to smack, but contribute nothing to the discussion about FCS football.talon38 wrote:Wyobison
While I respect you opinion about EWU, I can hardly agree it's a laughing matter as you appear to make it. Our O Line just had 3 serious surgeries in the last 3 weeks, ruptured achillies, broken leg, and ACL (today), not to mention all american Center out with torn PCL and RT tackle with lingering high ankle sprain. Only the LT Tackle is healthy. Then we lose a pre season Buchanan LB, #1 WR, Starting corner, that's 7 of the returning 16 starters. And Eastern has been competive in all there games thus far, just no record to show for it.
As we've seen alot of things have to right to win a NC, as did last year, but nothing, including injuries and turnovers has went our way this year. This team has not given up, they need to win out for a playoff shot.
While I've never posted ever on the Bison forum, I just thought your remark of "karma is a bitch" was over the top!!!

Four is a stretch, won't happen. But 3 is certainly within the realm of possibility this year. Starting 2012, I think you'll see 4 from the Big Sky on a pretty consistent basis.

Re: Was EWU on The Cover of Sports Illustrated?
Karma? What is this Karma you speak of? Really has nothing to do with anything regarding the Eagles record this year. Poor scheduling and major injuries have everything to do with it.WYOBISONMAN wrote:They suck this year.....I find it a tad funny. Earlier in the season they were all over on our board huffing and puffing like the Big Bad Wolf........I guess that wind just kind of got sucked out of them. Too bad.......LOL! Karma is indeed a bitch......
And I imagine much of what you're referring to was sparked by a few arrogant NDSU fans coming on our board spouting shit prior to last year's playoff game. If you're going to dish it out, you better be able to take it.

IF it's four (and that's a BIG if given the pro-CAA bias of recent selection committees), #4 will probably be Sac.
