This is why you have to love FCS. The CAA is in somewhat disarray, but you have to know someone will step up and make it far in the playoffs. We can't really tell who is good and who is bad across the nation until the playoffs. Thank goodness for playoffs.

I'm definitely curious to see how the eventual CAA representatives fare in the playoffs. Are we seeing parity, or is the conference genuinely not that good this year? I'm leaning towards "not that good", but the playoffs will answer that question.

Our offense is a legit force. We've failed to break 30 points one time this year, on the road at UD when we scored 24.

Heineke has scored 10 td's in 2 1/2 games as a true freshman against umass, ud and Towson. He is legit.

Any team that plans on beating odu needs to win in a shootout. Unfortunately, our defense has made that a real possibility in every game.

With that said though, we've had a 4th quarter lead in every single game we've played this year. 5-2 isn't too bad for our first year in the caa and with nova, w&m and ur still left on our schedule, 8 wins is still a real possibility.

To say we suck is something I'd expect from someone with no understanding of college football.

Super disappointing game. UMass came out & punched UD in the mouth & the Hens never recovered. Just look unprepared to play - team is way too inconsistent & maddeningly predictable. Donnelly was exposed on Saturday - played brutal - look for Sasek to go the rest of the way. What happened to our vaunted OL? Now, that's a good question.

Making excuses about close losses tells me that you don't know much about football - at any level. When the season is over every team will be able to look back at one or two plays that could have changed their season. Making excuses about it is for losers, so carry on.

IMO, is it rediculous to say or consider there isn't one GREAT team in the FCS this year.
