I wouldn't underestimate the commish's influence. You just don't geographically. You think the presidents will want that added travel cost?

Didn't the presidents vote us in to start with? Why would they turn around and say you are out...UND didn't move in location we have been in Grand Forks since 1883.

Like it or not, as long as UND drops the Sioux name they will be in the Sky for as long as they like. There is no way the Presidents would turn around after inviting them and kick them out for no reason.

Exactly. The nickname issue is the only reason. They knew where UND was located and what travel costs would be like but still liked UND both athetically and academically.

We've got some guys too. Bumpas, Willingham (4 star LB transfer from Central Florida) will be key to our defense. We had a young defensive line that will have experience now and we've brought in some DB JC's to help out our awful secondary.

On offense, Jace Davis will be back and we got a receiver that was recruited out of high school and offered by Colorado State and Minnesota. Seth Lobato had a decent year and should improve but our o-line needs to get MUCH better. They didn't have a coach dedicated to this specific unit last year, but we did hire a full-time o-line coach and that should help.

O-Line was UNC's biggest problem. I thought the Qb was pretty decent, but that O-Line gave him no protection.

UNC has the advantage of playing UND every yaer now. A free win for the former NCC "fellers" just like the old days

I don't think your stadium is much better. Uniform upgrade is happening in '12. We're going from New Balance to Under Armour. BTW, who is NCU?
