Sorry for the ignorance... Why does everyone seem to hate Georgia State?

I could care less but many of their fans have seemed to imply or state that they were too good for FCS. It was known that they were using this as a quick stepping stone to FBS so that upset many people.

In reality, they were never a good fit for the CAA (in the other sports - haven't yet started in football) and a move is better for both the CAA and for Georgia State.

Sun Belt commissioner Karl Benson said his conference hasn’t decide to invite Georgia State, and that he will not be in Atlanta on Thursday.

Benson’s comments contradict a report on CBSSports.com that the presidents of the Sun Belt voted earlier this week to invite Georgia State, and that Benson will be in Atlanta on Thursday to likely extend an invitation.

You aren't buying what benson is saying are you? That dude is the worst liar. Mr. Peanut(always w/ the nothing to see here line) I think there's a quote on the WAC board that all the SBC prez' approved Georgia St. via conf call. We should find out soon.
