honestly this is a supbar qb group in the SWAC this year. There aren't any standouts.

Well check out Lovelocke,if he were at Jackson St instead of Prairie View his profile would be much higher,he came into the SWAC with a lot of press clippings out of high school ,saw him on YouTube looked very impressive the Panthers play against fellow 1-AA powerhouse North Dakota State this upcoming season.

I saw him play a couple of times. I still stand by my statement. Without going back more than 10 years compare any of those QBs to the ones playing now. No contest.

And I stand by mine put him in a better situation and watch him take off!!!! Imagine him with Doug Williams at Grambling if his son was not on the squad?????

Would you care to explain your mirth, CB?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Has Magelby done anything in spring ball to suggest that he will be the best QB in the BSC ?

Grambling only averaged 4 yards a game more than PVU passing last year. And both of Southern's QBs put up better numbers and neither were consistent. We'll agree to disagree, but IMO this isn't a solid group of QBs in the SWAC.

Well you must remember that Doug Jr was running the show last year and he was frosh and Casey Therriault had Jackson St as one of the top offenses in 1-aa last season. Also the QB at PVAM was inconsistent and the coach finally put Lovelocke in when ppl were saying he should have been made the starter at the beginning of the season.
