The altitude gets to Sac in Ogden and the lack of altitude gets to Weber in Sac?

By the way I picked Poly, and it could be as early as this upcoming season.

New Mexico State is garbage. They haven't won more than 4 games since 2004.

We stole Peterson from SUU this off season; I’m interested to see how that impacts both programs.

I personally wouldn't want NMSU added to the Big Sky-

They are far away from most of the Big Sky (minus the Utah Universities, N. Arizona), and honestly aren't that great a football team (wouldn't be in the FCS either), and they don't add anything regarding academics.

Good steal for you guys but even so, more then happy to be underestimated by you and everyone in the Big Sky, that worked out so well for Sac last season. :thumb: But in regards to the poll I voted for my Tbirds just because but realistically we have one of, if not the toughest conference slate this season and all the advantage lies with the Mustangs.

You guys just keep your Hornet fans straight, SUU. SD and the others think SUU is BEATABLE. I, on the other hand, am on record as saying it's a done deal. Don't blame THEM for my myopicness. Don't get us confused.

OK?

Was quoting him more so in regards to his comment on you guys getting Peterson, not so much in regards to beating us. Either way my comment in regards to being underestimated still stands.

There's no doubt Ed Lamb has the team headed in the right direction, but even in the last two years you've won games that surprised everyone and then, when people are about to begin giving SUU props they appear to deserve they shit themselves by doing something like losing back to back games to the UXD's of the world.

Ya'll need to develop some consistency before people will stop misunderstimating you.

The question isn't what happened that game, it's what happened the rest of that damn season.

That is the year UNI lead Iowa at half, and outplayed them the entire game, but had 2 last second field goals blocked (first and only time in history that has happened) and UNI lost 17-16.

Here's how UNI started that season

Iowa 16-17 - keep in mind Iowa won the Orange Bowl this year
USD 66-7
St. Francis 30-0 - returned opening kickoff for TD and played run the clock out from the very first snap. Played second and third string players everywhere but QB 80% of the game...could have been as bad/worse than the ISUb and USD game.
Indiana State 62-7
NDSU 42-27
SIU 20-27
SDSU 14-24
YSU 28-7
WIU 34-0
ISUr 20-22 - scored with 6 seconds left on the clock after UNI scored with 1:10 left in the game..caused missed playoffs.

That team was LOADED with talent, and should have ROLLED everyone on the schedule like they did to start the year

clenz, you missed a game there. Your rather nice 35-7 road win over SW MO between the St. Francis and IN St.

Was there an injury problem mid-season there that would explain that? It doesn't appear that you have any D-II games to blame. It looks to me like you should have gotten more credit for the IA game, the SIU game, and the wide margin of victory in your wins.

No injuries....no nothing....

Other than the fact of the matter that it is widley known/believed that the starting QB of that team (Sr all conference performer Pat Grace) was an absolute douche with no leadership skills and constantly threw other players under the bus.

Which would make sense as to why the team fell apart when they did and seemed to lose every close game.

You are too new to know, but I just so happen to be a guy who enjoys women's sports. What's the harm in that?
