2012 Bust Team

Oh come on, 7-4/5-3 out of the CAA was good enough to get a CAA team in the playoffs the prior 2 seasons with a 20 team playoff field, just not this yr. 7-4/5-3 was lower than a lot of people predicted for JMU. The CAA pre season coaches poll had JMU #3 in the CAA, and Phil Steele had JMU pre season #1 CAA, #2 overall. Most JMU fans I saw (and a lot of non JMU) were predicting 9-2 or 8-3. Did JMU meet expectations? No- JMU was 1-2 games below. But if you think JMU was the biggest bust team in the country (which is what this thread is about) then you are delusional.

MSU and Furman and perhaps Towson/Montana....

Towson was 6-2 in the CAA, tied for 2nd place, and they lost @ LSU and @ #2 MAC Kent State. That isn't a bust.
