Really the way I see it, whether you come from Alabama, Air Force or anywhere in between, everyone has a story for why they end up at an FCS school, but just because you do, it's no guarantee youll be an automatic success once you get there. Before I further explain that, I have to say, as fans of our respective schools, nobody here is into some supposed d*** measuring contest because they mention some guys came from X FBS school. Now, I mentioned Tanner Hartman and Will Johnson for Liberty. Not every guy from an FBS transfer standpoint is a success. Take last year for example, we had Clifton Richardson come in from UVa. Expectations were he would be a contributor for us at running back and maybe even surpass Des Rice and DJ Abnar at tailback. he didn't do that, largely disappointed and is no longer on the team. Rashad Jennings, now of the New York football Giants, transferred from Pittsburgh when he landed on the mountain. He has the only 1500 yard season in school history, two time Big South offensive player of the year and Walter Payton finalist in 2008. I say all that t say, for every boom transfer, you have a bust or two as well
In his time at UNI his 2 year career stats include
82 carries 358 yards (4.3) 3 TD
33 catches 268 yards 1 TD with a long of 20
Year by year break down
Jr
80 carried 360 yards 3 td
7 catches 50 yards
SR
2 carries -2 yards
26 catches 216 yards 1 TD
We've had those too, but not all of them are washed out. You might think it's a small time mentality. I think it's part of FCS, a level I'm perfectly comfortable with.

I agree. Montana's had a good amount of transfers come in and have some success. Players like J.D. Quinn, Craig Ochs, Drew Miller, and Justin Green have been huge for the Griz and there's also been a good amount of role players as well. Yes, there has been flubs, but there are flubs in every level of sports.
Just found out UNC has a transfer defensive end from Western Michigan, and his name is Mikhail Dubose. He's a 3 star prep from Chicago. He played in 11 games last year at W. Michigan and made two starts as a freshman. http://www.wmubroncos.com/ViewArticle.d ... =205372441" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
