I'd take Richmond over Montana, too. Montana hasn't beaten anybody of note and they don't seem to be able to stop anyone who can pass the ball (and no, beating a defenseless MSU team doesn't count).

Take the Griz out of Grizzyworld and they are nothing special. Heck, recently they aren't even special in Grizzyworld.
Yeah. Only 7-0 this year.

The game I want to see most is Liberty beating Villanova (hopefully). But the hands-down best game? That's got to be UM-EWU....

You must have missed the part about top 10 passing offenses. :coffee:

4. Murray State
5. Yale
7. Lamar
8. Jacksonville

What benchmarks! :dunce: :tothehand:

We know the Big Sky doesn't play defense. Four of the top ten passing offenses reside in the Big Sky... where do you think you got the name for the conference?

We played who we played. Those two teams were prolific passing offenses up until they faced our defense. Do you not think that refutes cluck's statement that we can't stop teams who can pass? :dunce:

You're right. The 14 SUU put up on SELA and the 6 on South Dakota State were quite prolific. Matter of fact, outside of the Big Fluff, the Turdbirds scored 13.75 points per game. Congrats on holding them close to their OOC totals.

I know how closely you follow the BSC, so you of course realize that those early games were under a new system with 1st year OC Gary Crowton (former BYU Head Coach) and at that time Aaron Cantu was still the QB. Once Ammon Olsen (BYU transfer) won the starting job, the birds passing offense exploded.

I don't know if this has reached your part of the woods yet, but offenses are dominating football at most levels, and both SUU and Sac have big boy offenses as does half of the rest of the conference. So yep, defensive numbers are down.

BTW, did you check out the top total defenses and passing defenses in FCS? There are some real winners there too.

The "big boy" offenses in the top 10 from the Big Sky were a combined 1-7 vs DI OOC (congrats on the Incarnate Word win). In the losses they gave up 56, 56, 55, 41, 40... I'd try something else. :bananahump:

And that has what to do with Montana's D playing well against them? :coffee:

We already covered that before you tried to change the discussion to whether it was better to have a good offense. You're punch drunk kalm. Did you swipe some weed from the Mrs this morning?

Cluck stated Montana couldn't stop anyone who could pass. Yet they clearly stopped two of the best passing teams from a conference that has 4 out of the top 10. :coffee:

Haven't been following them for years. They always disappoint.

So I've become a huge Alabama Crimson Tide fan in the interim.

Nah...just a victory.

Wanna double down and predict ISU holds us to less...on account of they come from a conference that actually plays defense? :)

For your Eagles, yes. For this thread... not so much. If you think giving up 394 total yards is a good day... Only a Big Sky fan could say that with a straight face.
