Re: Post your teams schedules with predictions
Southern U.
9/5 @ UL-Laugh - L As much as I would love to predict a win over the Cajuns, I won't I hope the Jags score more than they did against Houston.
9/12 Central St - W
9/19 Tennessee St - W Old rivalry has rekindled with two exciting games, here's to another with the home team winning again.
9/26 Alcorn St. - W Braves always play the Jags tough especially in Mumford
10/3 Jackson St (@ Jackson) - L A home game on the road? Doesn't make sense, this is a toss up to me. As much as it pains me I'll pick the Tigers.
10/10 @ Texas Southern - W this is almost as much of a lock as you can have.
10/17 Fort Valley State - W 2nd Non-D1 game
10/22 Prairie View - W Tough game but I think the Jags will be ready for the Thursday night match up. They'll win due to tampajag being in BR.
10/31 @ UAPB - W Strange things happened in the Jags last visit to Pine Bluff, hopefully things will be better on Halloween.
11/14 Alabama St (@ Mobile) W Will the Hornets score this year?
11/28 Grambling St (@ New Orleans) W No way in hell I predict a Grambling win.
I'm saying 9-2 but it could easily be another 6-5 season.

Re: Post your teams schedules with predictions
Florida-Nice payday, bad asswhippin for the Bucs
Wofford-Might stay close through three, but the result will be the same as last year
South Florida-Another decent payday but still no W for the Bucs
North Greenville-Bucs continue their domination of the Crusaders with a big win
Savannah State-Will use this game to rest the wounded prior to the start of conference play. Another win
Gardner-Webb-Bucs should take this one to even up the record at 3-3
Liberty-lots of points scored in this one. Liberty by 3.
VMI-Much improved defense shuts down the VMI running attack for a 14 point win.
Presbyterian-Still the new kid on the block in FCS. Bucs by 14.
Stony Brook-Payback at home for the Bucs. Bucs by 04
Coastal Carolina-Poor beach chickens will fall again. Bucs go for two straight shutouts.

Re: Post your teams schedules with predictions
I'll make a run at this...
If the QB situation works out and the O-Line comes together 9-2 is a very real possibility.
W Sep 12 Georgia Southern
W Sep 19 Indiana State
W Sep 26 @ Illinois State
W Oct 03 @ Cal Poly
W Oct 10 @ Missouri State
W Oct 17 North Dakota State
L Oct 24 Northern Iowa
W Oct 31 @ Youngstown State
W Nov 07 Southern Illinois
L Nov 14 @ Minnesota
W Nov 21 @ Western Illinois
BUT
It is possible that SDSU takes a dump in one of the away games (Cal Poly, ISU, YSU and WIU)
It is also possible that one of the GSU, NDSU and SIU games goes the other way.
Leaving SDSU at 7-4 with a 7-3 FCS record and third place in the MVFC.

WEBER STATE WILDCATS
Sept 5th, @ Wyoming Cowboys-W 31-20 (Wildcats have arguably the best FCS Quarterback west of the Mississippi, and the best running back in the BSC, I think the defense will be better than everyone thinks, and so does Mcbride. Cowboys have a decent defense, but the spread offense will take time to learn. Wildcats win.)
Sept 12th, @ Colorado State Rams- L 28-21 (I am going to say a loss for the Wildcats, It is a game that can go both ways, Sac St did only lose at Colorado State by 3, and Weber won at Sac, but with 2 FBS Mountain West opponents in a row, it will be tough for the Wildcats to pull this off, but I am hopefull.)
Sept 19th, Idaho State Bengals- W 56-21 (I think the Bengals will be improved, but not by much, Wildcats will continue to dominate thier rival from the north and cruise to the easy victory.)
Sept 26th, @ Portland State Vikings- W 45-28 (The last time the Wildcats played in Portland, the Wildcats and Vikings tallied a grand total of 141 points in the Wildcats 73-68 win, which set an NCAA record. Last season the WIldcats led Portland State 31-0 at halftime in Ogden, but didnt score again the rest of the game, unless PSU gets a decent defense, I see Weber winning in Portland again.
Oct 3rd, Montana State Bobcats- W 38-28 (The Bobcats will be a much improved team from last year i think, they have a good rush defense, but Higgins picked them apart last season. Wildcats pull away at the end.)
Oct 10th, @ Eastern Washington Eagles- W 56-49 (There is no game the Wildcats should get riled up for more than this game, the Eagles took our outright Big Sky title away from us, and cost us perhaps a chance to host a playoff game. Wildcats will be out for blood.)
Oct 17th, Sacramento State Hornets- W 31-20 (Sac St will be the Darkhorse of the Big Sky conf, they will be good this year, but not good enough to tangle with the Wildcats.)
Oct 24th, @ Northern Colorado Bears- W 48-14 (Last year in Ogden, the Wildcats commited 4 turnovers and only won by 7 17-10, despite outgaining the Bears in offense 571 yards to 142. The Wildcats will play a more controlled game and win.)
Oct 31st, @ Montana Grizzlies- W 28-24 (This is the year, this year belongs to the Wildcats, the Cats are going to win in Missoula for the first time since 1987, the year of my birth. Montana is going to be tough, and ready to take on the WIldcats, Reynolds will be UM best offensive weapon, and will compete with Smith for leading BSC rusher, but with lack of QB experiance, the Griz will be hardpressed to stop the Cats, And I think the Wildcats will be even better than they were last season.)
Nov 14th, Northern Arizona Lumberjacks- W 45-28 (The Wildcats crushed the Lumberjacks in Flagstaff last season on NAU's homecoming, I dont see much changing this season, and the Wildcats will beat the Jacks again.)
Nov 21st, Cal Poly Mustangs- W 52-38 (With the loss of thier head coach, thier best reciever, and thier outstanding QB the Mustangs will have a difficult time beating the wildcats, although both teams last year scored at will the Wildcats will come up the the defensive plays neccessary to win.)
10-1 end of regular season- 8-0 Big Sky Champs.

Do you really think Towson would play at UNI and Montana in the first 2 rounds?
Dont you think they would play someone like Richmond or App St instead? Cause apparently the NCAA likes to regionalize the playoffs.

Do you really think Towson would play at UNI and Montana in the first 2 rounds?
Dont you think they would play someone like Richmond or App St instead? Cause apparently the NCAA likes to regionalize the playoffs.
Actually, the way I had it playing out, the only reason we got a home game is because Howard upset McNeese and Bucknell won a close one over CCSU.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

That looks pretty reasonable. Delaware's season depends a lot on the o-line coming together and then staying healthy - there doesn't appear to be a lot of depth there, even with the transfer coming in. I could see the final record for the Hens landing anywhere between 8-3 and 5-6.93henfan wrote:Without having seen Pat Devlin play yet, I'm going conservative:

6-5, but I reserve the right to add two more wins after I see how we play Richmond.

The only non-conference team with playoff aspirations that could be a bus ride to UNI is Eastern Illinois and they usually get sent to Southern Illinois. So UNI usually plays a CAA, Big Sky or Southland team in the first round.
