That's about it. Montana State was mouthy and Elon hit AE several times after the whistle - sometimes after he'd gotten back up from being tackled. No one would be saying much about it now had he not been injured on one of the plays.

Now Elon. That was dirty. I put the blame on Lembo and the SoCon refs for not blowing the fuckin' whistle.

That game pretty much doomed the rest of the season. AE didn't play in the season ender against Western the following week, was obviously hampered during the SC State game, and finally, all the wheels fell off against Richmond.

Revenge in Burlington.

I remembered these two and wondered if there were others and that maybe there was a trend of App fans complaining about dirty play/trash talking. I thought I would check the facts (I know it's a rarity on a message board) before I threw out any smack about App fans' whining.
