(it takes 10-20 seconds to load the first time, but it's worth the wait). you can also just hit refresh on your brower to run it over and over again after the inital loading, or advance to the playoffs. You can choose your format for games and teams.

You can also view the stats from each individual game using this feature.
That would be freakin' sweet for the Griz man. God damn you've brought some real fun to the board in so few of posts. :thumb:

Ursus, I just added the 2000 Montana team. I have a link with them playing the 2009 team.

If you can transfer the overall and player: Passing, rushing and recieving yards to an excel sheet I can add the rest of the teams. It's just a pain in the butt in that pdf format.

The 2001 was the other National Champ team. Did you do that one as well? I'll go look now anyway and I will try and get the stats transferred over to an excel sheet.

bobby, send me a link to the team/stats for 99' GS and I'll try to add it.

Ursus, I don't need much on the excel sheet, basically just the team and individual passing, rushing and recieving stats. If you'd like the defensive roster added, list them below the other offensive stats by defensive line to secondary in order.

Apparently the Elon/App. St. game at Elon this year is gonna be close...Elon takes it 13 out of 25 times with an average score of 22-22.

BOB, I added the 1999 Georgia Southern team, here's a sample game.

I did a search on google for the 1999 team and cnnsi had the full season offensive stats.

I did it last night against the 2007 Griz which wasn't one of our best teams but did have a good defense and GSU won 13 of 25 but did lose in the avg. score by one point. I couldn't go to the 2001 which was an even better defense or the 1995 which was a comparable offense to your 99 Eags.

16 team FCS Playoff Simulation (Scores only) . Each time you hit play again it will run the entire tournament again.

http://nationalsportsrankings.com/jooml ... magic=1011

based on information and seeds from

http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/ ... ions-1021/

I can add the same tournament with box score and player stats for the teams if anyone is interested. It takes 15-20 seconds to load the first time but loads instantly after that.

I like the concept, but to me, the results seem dubious. For instance, I ran a 25-game between Miami (FL) 2001 and Florida 2009, with Florida taking 18 of 25.

I also ran Montana 2009 vs Miami (FL) 2009. The Canes took 22 0f 25, but just about every score was within a touchdown. Look, I love the Griz, but there's no way they'd hang with the Canes within a touchdown.

Aside from that, thanks for the work, it's a fun site!!

here's what I got the first time I ran it. You ran the wrong year and said it was 09

Miami (FL)(2009) wins 25 of 25 matchups against Montana(2009)

Projected Score: Miami (FL) 36 Montana 13

Margin of Victory: 23 Points

No, I ran the 2009 year. Question, how much does the home field factor in? I ask, cause I find the results can be significantly different.

you didn't run 2009 montan vs 2009 miam and get a 7 point margin for 25 ,it's impossible. They may play 1 game within 7 points but they are 22-24 points better at miami and at montana they would be 18-22 points better.

I know for a fact because i designed the program and created the team rankings. Over multple played games like the 25 game matchup you are going to get a consitant result based on the overall ranking averages. The actual differences will bear out over time.

You didn't play the 09 montana vs the 09 miam fl and get a 7 point margin for the 25 game matchup because it's impossible.

I'm not saying the field that says margin of victory indicated 7 points. There were a couple of games where Miami won by large margins (40+), but there were also numerous games (probably around 10) that were around 7 points.

This one is not a big deal. I find the 2009 Florida vs 2001 Miami much more disturbing, as there's no way the 09 Gators could hang (much less win) against the 01 Canes.
