Considering there never was an intention to denigrate anything or anyone, your attempt to make a connection between my position and the "pretentious and elitist attitude" of unc-ch fans is a pretty feeble attempt at an insult. It is also pretty funny coming from someone who uses a character from Deliverance as his icon.
I do hope you realize while making your "valid point" you inadvertently did a masterful job of showing why the the Home / Visitor side terminology is so obviously inappropriate. Your reference picture clearly shows the stands in question filled with Black and Gold clad fans and the ASU band.

NMSU, USU, and Idaho were once in the Sun Belt as well. I wonder if they would like to become football only affiliates as USU and Idaho were before.
Of course they would (versus having to be indy). But it's doubtful the SB would talk about 11 football schools and then decide on bringing in the entire WAC. They didn't want all the previous schools like Utah St, Idaho, etc. It just happened that if the Sunbelt were to take sponsorship of football from the Big West, they needed to bring in more members.
Our AD repeated last night that the Sun Belt is not an viable option and that expects a lot of movement on the realignment front in the next few weeks.
. However I dont think this would be a bad move, no Idea why they are in the WAC in the first place.
