Besides, the very nature of someone using the home/visitor side verbiage in an attempt to denigrate an otherwise valid point regarding this debate exudes a usually reserved for the fans of our state's flagship university in Chapel Hill...
I do hope you realize while making your "valid point" you inadvertently did a masterful job of showing why the the Home / Visitor side terminology is so obviously inappropriate. Your reference picture clearly shows the stands in question filled with Black and Gold clad fans and the ASU band.
BTW, it is spelled apparently not apparantly.

Re: Appalachian State to CUSA?
Of course they would (versus having to be indy). But it's doubtful the SB would talk about 11 football schools and then decide on bringing in the entire WAC. They didn't want all the previous schools like Utah St, Idaho, etc. It just happened that if the Sunbelt were to take sponsorship of football from the Big West, they needed to bring in more members.Mike Johnson wrote:NMSU, USU, and Idaho were once in the Sun Belt as well. I wonder if they would like to become football only affiliates as USU and Idaho were before.SUUTbird wrote:[With the WAC in the state it is and losing member after member it wouldnt surprise me if La-Tech bolted for the Sunbelt in search of greener pastures . However I dont think this would be a bad move, no Idea why they are in the WAC in the first place.

Our AD repeated last night that the Sun Belt is not an viable option and that expects a lot of movement on the realignment front in the next few weeks.
