Lance should have done what Cox did- find an SEC/Big 12/ACC school to transfer to that needed a QB. Heck, could have done it 2 weeks ago when everything fell apart, like a # of I-AA players did (for ex JMU's AA safety and a starting DT are now at UVA as of around 10 days ago).

He's a roll of the dice, even if he goes first round. Granted, most college QB's are rolls of the dice for the NFL, but he has the size and physical attributes that match the NFL well. Still, he's pretty raw.

That is true. It depends on the situation they are coming in to. I had a hunch Peyton Manning was going to be good, but I also thought Ryan Leaf would be up there as well. I also had a good feeling about Joey Harrington. I did not put much stock in Tom Brady, however. Or Brett Favre, either.

Iowa is cutting 4 sports - men's gymnastics and tennis and both men's and women's swimming and diving. Say that it's based in part on losing $100M in revenue from not playing football this year (will be operating at a $75M loss this year as a result). I would expect to hear from more Big 10 and Pac 12 schools in the coming weeks, although Stanford had already cut some sports.

App now has an away game with.....Marshall, this year. The team also didn't practice for three days this week due to a covid outbreak, but were back on the field yesterday.

I just read that Western Carolina has 2 games now this season. Both away (Liberty and Eastern Kentucky) and in November.

NCAA approves blanket waiver for 2020 fall sports athletes to retain year of eligibility

Parents of Nebraska FB players have hired an attorney and requested that copies of bylaws, minutes, recordings, etc. of the B10 decision making be turned over by Monday and if not they will file suit to have the info released.

Yep. And it might be in their best interest to turn over the info so that there's not a court case that could clearly define that everything they do is public. That happened with the Iowa State University foundation several years ago. Courts ruled that they are an arm of Iowa State and everything they do is public.
