For those who didn't see it:
CAA FOOTBALL’S STATEMENT ON ISSUES SURROUNDING DELAWARE/JAMES MADISON GAME
"RICHMOND, Va. (October 5, 2010) -- CAA Commissioner Tom Yeager released the following statement today in regards to issues surrounding the Delaware/James Madison game, Oct. 2, at JMU’s Bridgeforth Stadium.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT
In consultation with the conference’s supervisor of officials and the game referee, I have determined the play in which Delaware quarterback Pat Devlin was injured was not an unsportsmanlike act......" (it then goes on)

Delaware has too much class to react so negatively to the infamously and notorious JMU Cheap Shots. Any long time knowledgeable CAA fan already knows about JMU's bad reputation for these kinds of low activities. No need to beleaguer the ugly incident. Delaware beat JMU in a tough defensive game, leaving the Dukes behind and moving forward. Congratulations to a Delaware Squad that has great team chemistry and work ethic. Delaware is now the team to beat in the CAA

On December 12, 1775 the Continental Congress created a Battalion of minuteman from the three counties in Delaware. Kent county militia were fans and owners of Game Cocks; Fight'n Blue Hens as they were called. The Fight'n Blue Hens became known far and wide as the very best Fighting Game Cocks around. Thus, the Blue Hen was established.
