Calls have been made to the greater Fargo Area in search of a Competent and Trustworthy bronze/metal Punchsmith! Apparently, several of these Blue-Collar Types have been interviewed, but deemed either Incompetent, Un-Trustworthy, or Both!

Failing finding somebody Local to Do This Dirty Deed, the Asterisk Committee has NOT ruled out the possibility of bringing in a Tradesman/woman from Minnesota to Perform this Hateful Task! :suspicious:

It also bears mentioning that Robin Plugrad, when asked about these latest Developments, had only Nice Things to say about "The Bodacious Bison" (his words) of North Dakota! What a Class Act IMHO! :notworthy:
Now I am positive you and Sioux Lover were seperated at birth. :coffee:
This is not right.

I am hearing that the Asterisk Committee (I know, not a terribly imaginative name, but that's what They came up with) is giving it until the end of next week (1/27/12) to find a Qualified and Trustworthy LOCAL Metalsmith. This Person will be Charged with making the Required Modifications to the Fargonaut Trophy. How Exactly these Modifications will be made is beyond me (I AM NOT a Metalsmith)!

If, by the specified date (see above) the Asterisk Committee has been unable to find a Qualified and Trustworthy LOCAL Metalsmith, the Committee will Cast their Nets into Minnessota (Twin Cities area, I believe)

Once under Contract, the Metalsmith will have until March 16 2012 to complete the Required Modifications! :thumb:

It is ONLY A COINCIDENCE that the Contract Termination Date falls on St. Patrick's Day Eve! :suspicious:

The road to the FCS Championship now goes through Fargo. As I predicted Fargo and the insanely popular Fabulous Fargo Dome, among the nations legendary football venues, has become the focus of the FCS world.

The changes in the FCS are here. Montana, a school that seems to have run its course, once prided itself on being the best program in the division. Now, they have as a legit goal hosting the at large team from the MVFC. The big question now: Will Montana move up!

The MVFC has changed. UNI a school that once had a lock on the title now has as a realistic goal the MVFC at large bid and the Jr Bowl out in Montana somewhere. Ill State and YSU are rising and have the ability to push UNI down to the SIU level.

Back east they are well aware of NDSU just as they are in the south.

Its the New BISON Era and the road to the championship goes through Fargo and the insanely popular Fabulous Fargo Dome. :thumb:

When was that? Back in D2 wasnt it?

The most improbable streak in the nations sports history and certainly the biggest acheivement in UND sports history didnt really pan out to much for you did it? But hey if thats as good as it gets at UND, a school that recently lost its right to use its long time indian nickname and imagery because of on going hostilities with the Tribes and NCAA, you can have it!

Now you are bashing DII...tell that to Bison fans who remember and still bring up their dominance in the 80's all the National Championships from 1990 and earlier. 8 years ago NDSU was in DII it wasn't 100 years ago.

Im not bashing D2, its just ancient history thats all. If you have to go back to the last century and a different division to come up with some glory for yourself so be it. The NDSU BISON are the 2011 FCS National Champions. Thats good enough for me, and it makes the insanely popular Fabulous Fargo Dome the destinatin in the FCS. The road to the championship goes through Fargo and the Fabulous Fargo Dome!

It exists, its history, as is the UND record, one of the most improbabe and amazing athletic records ever and certainly the biggest achievement in UND sports history. Congratulations!

Although NDSU did lose to UND in the D2 days before UND quit playing, the record left behind by The BISON is unequalled. It casts a shadow over all of the other schools in North Dakota. The Big Stage is in Fargo at the insanely popular Fabulus Fargo Dome. What a thrill if must have been for your grand parents when UND made that great run! Congratulations and dont forget The NDSU BISON are the 2011 FCS National Football Champions! :thumb:

It wasn't that long ago unlike NDSU's run to the title..first title since 1990 (Bush Sr was president) UND has a title too in the 21st Century. Now that we are playoff eligible lets see if UND can match NDSU's...also remember when NDSU went from 6-5 to 3-8 oh yeah in 2009, it would be a shame if NDSU flopped back to that.

I don't know the precise wording that the Marvelous Metalsmiths of Minnesota will employ on the Fargonaut trophy (the Asterisk Committee has been surprisingly tight-lipped throughout this entire process), but it MIGHT look something like the above!

Some of the fargonauts might object to the phrase "...refused to play the Montana Grizzles...", but I happen to be in possession of literally STACKS of Offer Sheets, Travel Concessions, and personal Memorandums (some rather uncomfortably so!) which point quite clearly to the fact that the fargonauts were tap-dancing Furiously in order to avoid a Meeting with The Mighty Men of Montana!  :suspicious:

It would be Very Easy to simply turn my back on What I Know, to Keep my Head Low and my Voice Lower. To Walk Softly and Carry No Stick! Thank You Sir, May I Have Another?! :suspicious: :tothehand:

But Worry not those amongst us that place Value on Truth, Righteousness and Honesty! Courage, Decency and Honor! I Will not Give Up...I Will Never Give Up! :protesst:

Congrats to the powerhouse that is UND football. I'm sure, in your mind, UND will step right in the BSC next year and dominate...right?

your half full Alerus will now be busting at the seams....right?

Season tickets will go from 40 bucks to 50 now....right?

UND will finish behind these teams next year: Grizz-Montana State-Weber-NAU-EWU and prob Sac Stat.

I hope GT does not schedule UND for many years.
