See that, kalm...even subliminally you know that EWU needs to be on the red carpet to have even a shot, no matter how remote, to beat W&M. You could have said you'd like to play W&M, anywhere, anytime...but you said you'd like to get them in Cheney.
W&M has no offense, so that would match up well with EWU's non-existent defense. A zero-zero game would be a riot (and, of course, you would still technically not beat another CAA team).

I know right? We've somehow lucked our way into an 8-2 record in the playoffs going back to 2010 with a 2-1 record against the CAA and 3-0 against the MVFC. They should send us on the road where we wouldn't stand a chance (except wins at OSU, Missoula, Bozeman, or knocking off seeds in 2004 and 2007)

Holy crap, OSU ended up with 6 loses and gave up 69 points to Washington. Similar to Appy-Michigan, the victory over a ranked FBS team turned out to be hollow...the whole world knows that OSU was even more overrated than EWU (well, at least those who even know FCS EWU exists). Try beating a good FBS team next time.

You earn home field by going 8-0 in an elite conference (first BSC team to do so since 2008 and something the woefully inconsistent CAA teams struggle to do) and by beating a bowl winning Pac 12 team versus barely FBS programs like UMASS and UCONN. Its relatively safe to assume that given what we have returning, our performance in recent playoffs, and the fact that no other conference is really any better against the BSC than .500, we will once again be hosting.
Because we earned it...Unlike the CAA, hoping for home playoff game handouts...takers...

I'm not sure either of those fit. I wouldn't say they choked but as previously pointed out they did miss some plays. And I always felt "soundly" beaten describes a game that was never in doubt and the winning team dominated from end to end. EWU had a good chance to win the game. Towson was a superior team who overcame some real challenges to win but did not soundly beat EWU.
