With the exception of seeds.

UNH, good job. Lot of work to come up with all this. I guess I have one thing. Maybe I am being a homer, but an idential record with a head to head win over the other would make Montana State a higher seed in my opinion than Eastern Wash. Who has a better out of conf strength of schedule from Sept. is reaching a bit.

MSU has a 1 pt loss to a bad Pac 10 Team, and 27 pt loss at NAU.
EWU has a 25 pt loss to a good WAC team, and a 23 pt loss at MSU

Pretty close in reality.

while I don't put it past them to do that, if it does happen, I find it incredibly lame.
no, the seven win thing isn't set in stone, but it is in the handbook.

as is a clause about preference being given to teams with all-DI schedules, but I'm guessing both PFL teams played a non-DI as well, so I guess that is a wash.

it maybe lame and it may be more unlikely if talking about any other team... but Montana's prestige alone would carry significant weight in the room if they were discussing a 7-4 Montana vs 10-1 Dayton or Jacksonville for the last spot... and I really dont see them pickin g Dayton or Jacksonville in that scenario.

That one MVFC team finishes the season 8-3, then gets sent to SC State....even though UNI will outbid anyone outside of ASU, Montana, and UD....in the PIG for the right to play #1....aka one of the last teams in?

Wow...just wow

UNHWildCats apparently missed two little cited NCAA rules that

1.New Hampshire must travel to Northern Iowa for any playoff game.
2.UNI must be scheduled so that all CAA teams available must have a shot at playing UNI
Morons of the month - October

Looks like certain people on this board finally have a reason to trade in their US Passports

Just put the Hens at the front of the list and then it only has to be one team long. ;)

Ok, so with a little adjusting, if the playoffs were to start this weekend, my crystal ball has it looking like this;

1st round:
UMass vs. Lehigh
WIU vs. RMU
SC St. vs UNI
BC vs. Montana

2nd round:
#1 ASU vs SC St/UNI winner
SE MO St. vs Montana St.

#5 W&M vs Wofford
#4 UD vs UMass/Lehigh winner

#3 Nova vs WIU/RMU winner
EWU vs. SFA

UNH vs Liberty
#2 J'ville St vs. BC/Montana winner

3 seeded CAA teams over the BSC auto-bid? I don't think so dude.

I used the coache's poll for seeding purposes, but I still don't get your point about the BSC AB. How are they any better than any other AB?? And what makes you think they should be higher than the #'s 3, 4, & 5 team in the country??

His bracket is "if they started today" - there is no way the CAA will get 3 seeds in 3 weeks. The loser of the UD/'Nova game will not get a seed.

Yeah, I didn't originally see the "if they started today bit"....I was going to comment on the UD/Nova game.

UNI plays the last 3 teams that have a chance to win the MVFC other than themselves the next 3 weeks. UNI will be favored, but this year in the MVFC, you never know what will happen.

Historical reference.

Each week, you can gauge whether or not the 20 teams I have in the bracket change at all, aside from repositioning within the bracket.

You can also see how close the seedings coincide with any of the polls. I'm using the Coach's poll as my frame of reference.

In the end, you'll be able to point back to within the last several weeks which week determined your team's seedings.

But in regards to the three seeded CAA teams, Nova and Delware still face each other, Delaware also faces a ranked UNH, Nova still has a ranked UMASS, and W&M has UMASS, JMU (ranked), and UNH.

So tell me how you get three seeded teams out of that mess.

:| If you say so. There is only one seeding that matters... the final. At least trying to predict the final is sort of a game, this is just folly IMO.

Agreed. Far too many seed assumptions left. UD@Umass, Nova@UD, Wofford @ AppState, JacState @ SEMo and on and on.

"JacState @ SEMo" Southeast Missouri is at JaxState. I wish it was in the Cape; although, the Redhawks did win at SIU in front of a huge crowd.
