JBB appears to be channeling his inner Falkin. It's not a bad a play considering NDSU has some talent and nobody is taking him seriously anyways.

As the BISON continue to learn and maximize practice time with hard work and focus on the fundamentals of the game, college studies and physical and mental health the foundation for a championship dynasty is clearly in place in Fargo.

As far as I can see the Big Dakota 3 Schools are going to be in a dogfight but clearly NDSU has the advantage over both. SDSU has been a worthy competitor but the BISON have the Marker and that isnt likely to change. USD continues to struggle with its association with the GWC and lack of meaningful competition but that will change when they transition into the nationally respected MVFC.

Expect big things and enjoy yourself in Montana. The sun is setting on that program and Cal Poly should be a worthy competitior for them in the new Big Sky.
I like the Bison pride, but the sun is setting on Montana? Really? After one year that they don't make the playoffs. I don't understand where you're coming up with that. Teams have a down year once and a while. I wouldn't mind 7-4 as a down year. :coffee:

You gotta admire the mind of a myopic retard. NDSU goes 7-4 = championship-caliber dynasty in the making. Montana goes 7-4 = program will never see the light of greatness again.

Yeah, it's all over and the rest of us are playing for runner-up. This is a juggernaut that only lost four conference games en route to a third-place finish in the weakest MVC in at least a decade. :coffee:

Montana has a 7-4 record and it doesn't impress anybody. Why? The schedule was weak, not worthy of a playoff spot.

NDSU on the other hand has a 7-4 season and they get the playoff spot and 2 playoff wins. What's the difference? While Montana was playing some D2 school and struggled in a mediocre BSC, NDSU was beating a Charter Member of the Big 12 and delivering solid blows to major programs back east in the MVFC.

Most of you guys are the type that buy high and sell low. In a bull market you are finally in at the peak and ride it down. You don't seem to be able to spot a trend. The BISON go 3-8 and some of you claimed they were done. They go 7-4 and some of you belittle the 2nd year of the build out. Now here we are in year 3. This is typically the National Championship year for a emerging dynasty. You figure it out. I already know and have been telling you for 3 years.

Montana isnt done but the days of the auto playoff birth and an easy cruise to the title game are over. Thats what I meant. They are a good program in a decent league that has had little challenge. Fargo is on the map now and bill fette wont be there anymore.

Nothing new that I have been able to pick up today. I haven't had any calls from the NDSU Football Conglomerate's lavish practice complex but have heard Lakes say that NDSU@Gopher tickets are scalping outside Target Field today for $200. Thats the kind of moxy NDSU brings to the marketing table and thats exactly why FBS talk is appropriate for this program. The NDSU BISON draw better in Minneapolis than any of the Big 10 teams, but its a little out of season for that right now. We are in the middle of spring ball and as I have told you all in the past practice is where it starts. Game On!! :geek:

Ps. I hope the Captain wasnt just talking and did get his Gopher Season tickets. He will be able to recover the cost of his entire ticket package just by selling the BISON ticket!

The MVFC is the fourth best conference, behind the CAA, SoCon and the Sky. Accept it and move on. :coffee:

Thats funny, you saw it change last year. Montana state, a co champion was soundly defeated in a fair game. The other co champion advanced in an indecisive contest. The rest of the BSC was watching from the sidelines and didnt earn a chance to play The NDSU BISON.

Ps. The Big Sky added a bunch of weak teams. The MVFC added some very good programs but most importantly added NDSU. Thats all you need to know.

The Bison will lose to Minnesota, Southern Illinois, Missouri State, South Dakota State, and Northern Iowa. Better throw in Youngstown State, as well.

You heard it here first. (Just need BlackFalkin to confirm it, and it will become prophecy  )

Good luck watching the playoffs at home during your "emerging dynasty national championship season", asshat.

I welcome the opinions of others. I might add, its easy to spout off with nothing to back you up. I have history on my side. The trend is your friend. Remember: 3-8, 7-4 and quarter final loss to bill fette, now we are on the threshold of year 3.

But this thread is digressing. Its intent is to report on the growth and development of the emerging FCS Dynasty team, The NDSU BISON. At this point I have no new news.

 Nope. But next week things should be popping. BISON will be in full dress and the development of the dynasty should be in high gear. :twocents:

 Classic example of a battleship mouth and a rowboat asss.

I hate to have to be the one to tell you, this, Jabby, but you're on the threshold of year four.

4-4, 2-6, 4-4 in the MVC, a not very impressive 10-16 start to the dynasty. :coffee:

Compare to 7-1, 8-0, 4-4, for a much more impressive 19-5 and eight straight playoff appearances. Come talk to us when, if, you break .500 in the conference and we'll try to keep a straight face.

You really have no clue about dynasties do you? I have seen several maybe 3, maybe 4. I understand the trend. It is my friend. The record you are bragging about does not a dynasty make. Just sit back and relax. You are witness to history in the making.

I learned a ton of information about the Bison. Just where was JBB a few years ago during the Missoula Encounter. I would bet AZ would have flown him in just for the entertainment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but to have a dynasty, you first have to reach the top. The bi-son haven't even broken the .500 mark in the 4th best conference. This isn't D-II, little boy.

So you want to place a little bet, and by bet I mean donation to CS.COM in the others name? Are you saying the Bison will win the Chipper this year? Finish first in your conference?

Lot of Cubs fans in these parts been seeing a dynasty too, for over 100 years.
