It wouldnt hurt my feeling one bit if they booted Tru off the team. How many chances to you give a guy?

A titty twister

An open handed titty twister...also, not very effective.

It's not like they admitted to selling pot brownies at a high school dance.

Hardly. These things happen at Oregon all the time. Pflugrad just needs to talk to his old friend Chip Kelly on the "proper" way to deal with this, and there won't be any problems.

Somehow we missed the memo that you're supposed to party it up and get arrested after beating NAU. For us, we just treated it as business as usual. We don't know any better. Maybe this is something we at Portland State can learn from those who've done it consistently.
 Very funny, and true.

Yes...after the kid fully admitted to selling the pot brownies. Kudos to Coach Ash for dismissing a kid that said he did it!

The kid admitted it about 3 seconds after the cop asked him. Should Ash have been at the dance? And I am not trying to throw rocks here, no bobcat fan has a right to bash the griz for having players that did wrong. I was saying nothing will happen till after the year. Court date is set for Feb 7th. we shall see.

Not at all...I actually like and respect Coach Ash and of course, he did the right thing. My point is that there is a difference in taking action on a kid that admitted to felony drug counts and taking action on kids that are charged with misdemeanors AND have pleaded innocent.

at least selling brownies benefits people (in a twisted sense).
causing a ruckus at a loud party and smacking a peace officer is just causing trouble.

I see your point...

"According to court records, two 17-year-old boys identified Thomas as the person who made and sold tainted brownies for $15 apiece the night of June 3. Six 17-year-olds, along with Thomas, were sent home from the party with their parents after showing symptoms that included confusion, hallucinations, increased heart rates, perspiration and garbled speech, police said."

Why are we talking about a player that never even played for the Cats?

Because today 2 griz are in trouble. The next time a Bobcat gets in trouble there will be some that come on here and talk about the last time the griz did.

Never played, no...but he was a member of the Cats team until he admittedly committed two felonies. Why are Cats fans discussing how Griz players should be disciplined?

I'm not throwing any stones. MSU dealt with their problem swiftly and I think Coach Ash is a hell of a guy and a great coach. My point is that this situation is completely different than somebody admittedly selling drugs. I'm kind of in the middle on this...but I don't think people should bash the program until this gets sorted out.

It's good to know that this whole thing doesn't reflect negatively on your University, just business as usual over there in Missoula

Sorry. I don't have links. Perhaps my memory is not all that good, but I kind of remember him getting into trouble 2 times before this incident. Sorry if I piss you off with misinformation but...it is MY opinion/remembering. I have never said that that I have all of the information.

CS posters. Please disregarrd my posts. It is nothing but MY OPINION and nothing can be trusted from it. Sorry.

Not really a matter of opinion...either he did, or he didn't. And no, I don't know either. :?

I wasn't saying anyone was throwing stones sorry if my post didn't come across right. I was just meaning, when you do, they are bound to come back at you. I haven't bashed any program for what happens with their athletes. They are all kids and sometimes they screw up. I know I wasn't an adult at 21. I thought I had it all figured out but had (or still have!) a long way to go when I was 21. I don't know the situation with either one you guys are talking about but it doesn't soung very good for any involved. I think this most recent one will get sorted out properly, or I should I say I hope it does when all the facts are known. :thumb:
