Towson "avoids" Richmond and Georgia State

OOC Kent State, St. Francis, LSU
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

We "think" that is what it is, but considering the league schedule is done & UD hasn't released their 2012 schedule yet leads many to believe all 3 of those games may NOT be locked in stone.

Yeah, just like it was unrealistic for VCU to make it to the Final Four. Just like it was unrealistic for a non white man to win the Presidency, Just like it was unrealistic for ODU to have the start it had in it's first ever year in the CAA.

Delusional and unrealistic. Sure, I would never know the risks of such venture if a Delaware fan didn't tell me first. lol.
We'll do what's in the the best interest of our school. I'm going to sit back and watch.

Correction:

FWIW, Duquesne finished 9-2 in 2011.

Terrance West vs. LSU sounds like fun.

That sucks. JMU had the same BS in 09' when had a "bye" the 1st week, so team had to play 11 straight with no bye. What makes it worse, as I recall reading in the Harrisonburg paper, the NCAA only lets you start practice x # of days before the 1st game, so JMU started about a week after everyone else (which would mean a week less of 2 a days).

An AD should never let that happen.

I see Maine officially released their's today:
http://goblackbears.com/sports/m-footbl ... 0127el1ib1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

which just leaves Nova as not having released their's. But on the "FCS Schedules" page their schedule has been posted, so its looks like the entire CAA schedule including OOC for all 11 teams is set.

Harrisonburg Daily News Record on Wed's article on JMU schedule release:

"....In a game JMU hopes will become a tradition, the Dukes will conclude the regular season at home against Old Dominion on Nov. 17, pitting two similarly sized state universities from opposite ends of the commonwealth. Colonial Athletic Association commissioner Tom Yeager said Tuesday the league plans to schedule the two teams to end the year against each other from now on.
"We're going to make it happen," Yeager said. "The plan is, that's going to be the concluding game for both schools.".....

.....And for the second straight year, the Dukes don't play Delaware, one of their fiercest league rivals.
"I don't really know why that is," Matthews said. "I'm like everyone else. I was surprised. That's always been a really good game for both programs."......"

No surprise, Delaware is used to being every opponents biggest game.

I don't know how to put this, but we're kind of a big deal.

Apparently this recruit (Diggs) didn't think so:
