An 8-4 record with this schedule I think would be a very good result. Nobody is arguing that EWU won't lose some games. It is a very difficult schedule and I suppose a rebuilding year of sorts...although I would argue that there is not a lot of drop-off in talent there.

The other factor is coaching. Baldwin has never had a losing season at EWU, and I don't see that trend starting this year. Like it or not, he is the best coach in the Big Sky right now.

As a point of reference: Remember when we thought Hermy was the second coming of Colt when he had Trumaine Johnson as a lockdown corner on one side and the other side wasn't too shabby either...now without those two he appeared decidely human last year even though we were (as Griz fans) CONVINCED our secondary was in good hands. Now, I think ultimately it WILL be, but there IS going to be a drop off...unless you think you have three MORE NFL caliber receivers just waiting their turn.

SUU lost there QB and that is going to hurt. I messed up they beat ISU I will fix that 4-8 BSC 3-6

ISU has 2 easy wins for the first two games of the year.
UC Davis has a new coach. UNC and PSU I think will not win in Pocatello ISU looks a lot stronger than the last 5 years.

You are correct SAC beat Colarado so did everyone. But SAC was crushed by New Mexico State. Beat by ND, EWU, MSU and UC Davis. That tells me that SAC played a great game and a average season. San Jose State destroyed New Mexico Sate last year so the odds are Sac is going to get beat. I would love to see SAC pull out the win but it is unlikely that it will happen

I actually agree with your game by game breakdown for the most part, as I think UND gets by PSU on the road to finish 5-3 in conference and 7-4 overall. Possible that I'd also switch it around and call SDSU a W and Montana an L.

I did not know that. I think UND is going to be a dark horse. I watched the game in Pocatello a couple of years ago and thought they could be a contender in a couple of years. I hope that ISU can beat them but I don't think ISU will pull it off. I think that over the next couple of seasons that the balance of power in the BSC will shift to some of the schools not from Montana. NAU, CP, UND and SJSU. With more media exposure and improved facilities recruiting will improve making these teams better.

With all the other distractions and NCAA penaltys and sanctions. I don't think so!!! They could but probably not. UM has a difficult scheduled and I see the other teams improving more than UM did in the off season.

And we did not have a rape scandal, NCAA investigations, sanctions and we posted a perfect 1000 APR. Recruited a bunch of kids from IDAHO no gang bangers or rapist how many do you have?????? I will take that losing by 70 any day !!!!!!!!!
