I don't really see how he could continue at NDSU if he's taken another job. Why would his new employer allow him to work for someone else when he could be scouting and recruiting for them? Wyoming isn't going to want him moonlighting.

I hate this time of year as it relates to the coaching changes. Someone always gets screwed. But I guess that is the price of success at this; your coach has upward mobility.

If you think about it, this IS the period where a lot of coaches are hired at FBS programs anyway, right after the end of the season and conference championships, heading into bowl season. The fact that FCS has playoffs puts a hindrance of this because the playoffs go into January. If NDSU was heading for a bowl game then this isn't much different than the coach at NIU going to NC State prior to their BCS bowl game. I wish Bohl the best of luck at Wyoming. Who knows, he just might turn that program around.

Also, Wyoming is giving him a hell of a lot of money, and all the tools to be successful. There's no way Wyoming will let him coach the Bison again this year.. recruiting is now priority #1.

If you read back on the thread, you will see who I was responding to in the first place.

If you are keeping up on the topic, you will see that Bison fans have experienced coaches leaving after being successful at NDSU. This is nothing new to us, life goes on and you deal with it.

Don't understand why some coaches leave this way
I lost all respect for Joe Glenn when he ran out of town without saying goodbye and the 1st thing we saw was him playing Wyoming's fight song on his traveling piano.

Looks like Bohl wants to be gone along with his great graduating class.

No problem with a coach leaving and improving his family's financial situation just respect the program you just left and tell the players 1st that have left cartilage out on that field for you. Then tell to the fans how much you enjoyed your time there and how you will always be a Bison. That's all you need to do to still be thought of well by everyone.

Even though I could never be a fan of the Bison after 2010, losing your coach to some place like Wyoming is just shitty. The only thing that program has going for it better than NDSU is the money. Laramie is a tough place to coach at. I lived there for a year back in the day, and it's amazing to me that they're able to recruit kids to come play there. Really doubt Wyoming would have even been in the top 25 in FCS this season.
