It's not a lack of geographic knowledge it's know as exaggeration humor. Even when it lacks all that pesky humor part. For anybody over there to say that it is a haul for them to get to Chatty is a freakin' joke to us out here. That's the root of his statement based on past experience. Welcome to the board btw.jrj1976urspider wrote:I think AZGRIZFAN's comment about the CAA team being able to "roll out of bed and drive 30 minutes to the game" shows his lack of geographic knowledge. It took fans of schools like JMU, Delaware, Richmond and Villanova a lot longer than half an hour to drive to Chattanooga! Perhaps geography is not taught in Montana schools!

Sac State is in those other conferences mainly because the BSC doesn't sponsor them.SuperHornet wrote:We already have multiple conferences to deal with, SD.
BSC, WAC, PCSC, whatever outfit we're in for crew, and possibly even the MPSF (not sure about that one).

-The Patriot League has an auto bid. The winner of the conference will be in the playoffs.jstclmet wrote:Does anyone know what happens to Fordham should they have the best record in the PL?? Will they get the PL nod, or will the next team in line receive it?? If the latter, and assuming Fordham has 7 D1 wins, would they qualify for an AL??
-Fordham is not in the Patriot League.
-If Fordham has 7 D1 wins, the selection committee could select Fordham as an at-large bid for the playoffs.
-IMO, it will take at least 9 D1 wins for Fordham to get an at-large bid

Re: Some Insight on the Expanded Playoffs (2010)
Fordham is still technically in the Patriot League, but the conference has declared them ineligible for the championship and its autobid.
With an OOC schedule of Bryant, Rhode Island, Columbia, Yale, and D-II Assumption, Fordham may need to go 10-1 to get an at-large.
