I had Liberty @ 21 on my last ballot. They will be off my ballot this week.

Thanks.
Come on lefty. Why you gotta take shots at me? I know this loss is horrible and we do it every year, but why take a shot at me? We have the talent to compete for a nat'l ship, but until our heart and passion gets to that level we'll never do it.

I wouldn't mind if someone did hire him, right now, and he took his D Coordinator with him.
Go back to 2005 and rethink this.

Sorry- I thought the thread was about football.

Maine could only score 3 against an NEC team?

True enough- One of the things that I've noticed with teams that come out of the ltd. or no scholly conferences is that they play with heart and character.

So far this season the NEC has wins vs.

CAA - (RV) Maine
PL - Fordham and Bucknell
Ivy - Cornell
Big South - (15) Liberty

And we still have games vs Youngstown State, Delaware, Yale, Dartmouth, Georgetown, and Cal Poly

id love to keep rocco. i don't see why he'd want to stay. but i think he can find a better D coordinator. i mean really. 5 years now. still not stopping the run. still getting scored on too many times in games we should dominate in. just sayin. this is probly my anger just coming out and i might change my mind (if i ever cool off) but for now this is what i think

They didn't score at all in that game, actually.

And yeah, mainejeff's political agenda is sad. He's a guy to ignore, to be honest. Never brings anything to the table, just political barbs and stupid one liners.

Oh, so because he's won Big South Coach of the Year he should stay based on that alone? This is the same attitude the Bucs had keeping Gruden around while he ran the team into the ground.

The defense is terrible. It's terrible. And a lot of that is on the coordinators. Dropping 8 in a tied game and allowing a 20+ yard pass? But we do it all the time. Drop 8 and allow all kinds of yards. It's pathetic.

Some changes need to be made.

Duquesne beats Dayton who beats Robert Morris who beats Liberty who beats FBS Ball State.

Should RMU get votes and be ranked?

No.

No, 2005 = 1-10. No enthusiasm surrounding the team. Pitiful attendance. We've come a long way in 5 years primarily due to Rocco. Other than these "stupid hose" games we have every year, he has been wonderful.

I'm glad you like to be embarrassed. Turning a program around doesn't excuse you from making the same mistakes over and over. Ridiculous.

I know you're drinking the Rocco koolaid really, really heavy, and that's fine, but something needs to change.

If that helps you guys sleep at night, then fine.

Something needs to change. It might not be actual coaches, but something needs to change.

Easy, guys. We played poorly and lost a game that we shouldn't have. But let's not go overboard. RMu showed up to play today and we didn't. They deserved the win and we didn't. But the season is far from lost. After JMU next week we need to just take care of business and we'll be in the playoffs for the first time ever. This sucks but it is far from the end of the world.
