Touchdown Eastern...played tip drill with the Eastern WR . Lets hope our offense can come back and tie it before the game is over

It looked like it went right through the db's hands.SUUTbird wrote:Touchdown Eastern...played tip drill with the Eastern WR . Lets hope our offense can come back and tie it before the game is over

I wouldn't say it's game. Still lots of time left, and your passing game is sick.SUUTbird wrote:Well thats game...horrible desicion by Soreson...We beat ourselves today no excuses

Maybe however if you guys get a 1st or field goal it will be extremely hard... still got my head high just disgusted with sloppy play at this point.

Agreed good call, man just not what we needed....i think i will call it game now however, good job Eagles. Several untimely mistakes (just like last season) doomed us and we plainly beat ourselves in this matchup. However i am glad that we proved we can compete rather well with one of the top teams in the Big Sky.
Re: #27 SUU @ #5 EWU
Hey, big props to SUU - you definitely earned a fan today. I was very impressed with your team, and save the fourth quarter, SUU outplayed EWU the entire game. We wouldn't have won this type game last year - just glad we're finding ways to win the close ones.
Again, good job SUU and looking forward to seeing you in the Big Sky.

No doubt. SUU is a good fit for the Big Sky.SUUTbird wrote:Agreed good call, man just not what we needed....i think i will call it game now however, good job Eagles. The fact that we came into your house, played horribly and still kept it to only a 7 point game against one of the top teams in the Big Sky conference, not to mention barely losing to then ranked NAU led by Herrick...yeah i think we belong in the Big Sky as i know for a fact we could compete with every team in the Sky and probably beat a few as well.BlackFalkin wrote:WHOA! SUU played a hell of a game today. If we wouldn't of played soft zone all day, it might not have been that close, but jesus your QB and receivers didn't miss a beat, I swear they had duct tape on their gloves. Great teams find a way to win though... our D came through when it mattered. Special teams was huge today as well. One more week, let's get it done, GO EAGS!!!
Re: #27 SUU @ #5 EWU
EWU has it's own issues for sure, but after watching the UM - UND game, I don't know about that one. No smack intended, but I don't see Montana beating MSU this year, especially with MSU having the bye this week. Will UM get in the play-offs with a 7-4 record, with one of those wins being against a really bad Division II team? Dunno. It'll be interesting.SeattleGriz wrote:Yep. Re: #27 SUU @ #5 EWU
Yeah, UM looked really unimpressive against a subpar UND team. We'll see what they bring to the table in a game that REALLY counts. I don't think the Griz have what it takes [unfortunately for EWU].
