I received my first AGS warning...

We are working hard to clean up our boards. Contrary to belief, Syntax Error has also been seen his share of warnings and strikes in recent weeks. Our biggest problem right now seems to be individuals who report TOS violations and then respond with their own.

I do not feel it necessary to backtrack in history regarding your ban. That was months ago and if it was felt like it was time to overturn it, it would have been done. The Mods have been discussing issues more between each other and in turn, we have overturned some recent strikes/warnings as well as further discussed and pinpointed issues that are negatively impacting this boad.

So I responded as such

Please delete my account. I have no purpose here and do not want to be involved with a board that singles out posters and bans there for saying bad words. Or in my case, bans them for no reason. I never thought I would see AGS get so off track. This site used to be amazing, now because of volunteers, it is turning people away. Thank you, good luck and God Bless America.

Yeah and i'm not alone. But i'm through. I've asked politely to be deleted. It's like the 12 steps, i'm on step 12...or whatever step "Closure" is.

Instead of asking for your account to be deleted, why don't you just stop visiting the site? It serves the same purpose.

And no offense, but you have cried wolf over there quite a few times. It screams for attention, and perhaps they won't delete your account simply because they don't want to give you the satisfaction.

Hopefully this is the last time I will post in one of these threads as well but I just wanted to say to those that go over there to just stir things up...please stop. Mark I don't think yours was a negative thread or anything but on the heels of all the shit the last few months it does have a bit of a different context.

It is simple not to make a big deal out of things and move on. I never had to ask to have my account deleted or put up a farewell thread to announce that I was leaving. I just stopped posting, it was that simple. If you don't want to keep adding to the discussions over there then stop posting there it's that simple. I've used the analogy before but I will use it one more time. If you thought of these boards as pubs, and your posts as currency, and the threads you start as buying the bar a round then why would you keep going to the bar that you have so much trouble with the owner and buying rounds? For the love of God can't we just shut the fuck up about this shit?

If you just stop, that says all that needs to be said.

I never wanted to do a fairwell thread b/c I will go back at some point. Lots of good football talk still goes on over their. THe Louge may be dead, but it still has the football.

championshipsubdivision does not exist as a place to bash other websites/moderators of said websites, etc.

CS is a FCS fan site - there is room for both sites in the world. While cs and ags both are FCS sites, each has a different set of standards of conduct. While we encourage free speech, and are loathe to lock any thread, bashing another website is the one exception.


IF there is a need to discuss what is happening elsewhere, please do so in a respectful manner, with no name calling, etc.

And, if the other site is that bothersome, just stay off it.
