We have one of the best gameday atmospheres in FCS, year in and year out. Have for many, many decades. Oh, and we've never been outbid for a home playoff game. Thanks for playing.

I must admit that I am somewhat jealous of the very progressive idea of building up one side really big and leaving the other side looking really ghetto. It's one of the more innovative concepts I've ever seen in design. Delaware is stuck way in the past with the balanced stadium concept. That ship has sailed.

We do have the oldest fanbase in FCS too!
Somebody had to buy up the ODU allotment for that game, btw. Nobody from ODU came up to support their team that day. It was sad.
Well when you win year after year, decade after decade, fans tend to stick around longer. JMU has a fantastic student attendance at their games & from now having success over the past decade or so - they're most likely seeing a decent increase in fans in their 30's too. Keep winning and that will translate into older fans as those fans age as well. I don't find it a knock on UD - I find it a compliment when opposing teams call our fanbase old.
As for UNI - after you've been ass-whooped so many times as UD has flogged the Gateway/MVFC nothing but bitterness would surprise me. It's not like you see UNI posters taking shots at teams like Towson or URI....
