We look terrible in this game. Timing is way off. I'm hoping this is just first game stuff.

Either that or I'm going to be wrong about Sam Houston State and have to say OK they're showing signs of establishing themselves as a top program as they've got pretty much a completely new team now and are right in there with what's probably a national title contender. Didn't know about all the SHSU transfers. That concerns me as Keeler was really good at that kind of thing at Delaware.

I do think Eastern Washington was a lot more consistent though. They've been able to move the chains and put drives together a lot better than SHSU has been able to. They just gave up a couple of big plays and a pick six.

ESPN is ruining this coverage. Colin Cowherd? Really? He went to EWU, great. How about talk about the actual game being played? Its a highly competitive game with explosive offense. Yet he and the other announcers cant seem to stop talking about Oregon or Bama. Damn this dude/coverage really pisses me off on an otherwise great opening game...

Interesting that EWU gets the turnover and can now take control of the game but they don't put their #1 back in. We'll see if they score anyway but I don't get that one unless he's hurt.

This game is weirdly entertaining. EWU must be thinking "what the BLANK is going on?"

And that SHSU QB looks for most of the game like he can't hit the broad side of a barn including that high pass that ended up bouncing downfield and getting caught then on a critical play drops it in beautifully over the top in Drew Brees like fashion for a TD.
