You're underselling the PL suckitude.
Bucknell - lost to Duquesne, Cornell and VMI
Fordham and Lenigh lost to Monmouth
Lafayette lost to Delaware for Christ's sake
You said they lack quality OOC wins as if there were ONE. Holy Cross over Harvard is perhaps the best win for the PL this year. That's weak.
Which still doesn't prove that FCS is down over the past decade. Conferences go up and down. Last year, the PL had two playoff wins. The OVC and Big South appear to be down this year while the BSC and CAA have more solid teams.
My post was in response to YOUR claim that Lehigh was "tearing it up right now".
Two playoff wins... So because the OVC had 3 playoffs wins, that conference must be pretty good?
The CAA is down from 5-10 years ago. I don't know how you could say other.

The CAA is down a little? Perhaps. But the MVFC is up accross the board. You see this reflected in OOC FCS and at least the same amount of FBS wins. The SoCon has been down? Sure. But it has 2 teams currently in the top 10 right now. Meanwhile, the OVC and SLC have put teams in to the chipper. They both appear to be at least about the same.
Shifts of power but not less power.
The absence of UD, GSU, and ASU nothwithstanding...
