Damnit, I want to win so **** bad and EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT TODAY. Weather, tailgating, taking pictures and hanging out with friends, the food at the PURPLE ZONE, the band at the PURPLE ZONE and then...........kickoff. ****, down 21-0 right out of the gate.
I got so pissed I left and guess what, we almost came all the way back. Lost 35-26. Oh well, found a new bar in Sapphire, NC after the game and for 1 **** dollar, I got a lifetime membership. Not bad. Got to bounce back and beat UTC.
GO CATS!!!

Plenty of room on the Old Dominion bandwagon. It would be worth the trip (what, 5 hours?).catamount man wrote:way too much beer yesterday. sorry for this.........................................
Don't do it CC, they are only going to disappoint you in a couple years when they actually start playing real football teams!!!!CAA Flagship wrote:Plenty of room on the Old Dominion bandwagon. We are home vs. Georgetown on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Puh-leeze. The only question mark for the 2011 season at this point will be our lineman. Our skill positions will be every bit as good as JMU, and likely better because of the experience they will be gaining. After seeing your line this weekend, I would say you have the same questions to answer.bandl wrote:Don't do it CC, they are only going to disappoint you in a couple years when they actually start playing real football teams!!!!CAA Flagship wrote:

Hmmmmm........eastern team, small student population and fan base....Hmmmmmmmm Don't tell me I'll think of it in a minutebear axed wrote:CID1990 wrote:

I had a day a lot like that 4 or 5 years ago, right here in Missoula. See, the Griz were on a roll and the 1st game of the playoffs was looking great. I had a beautiful date on my arm a new Griz sweatshirt, great friends to tailgate with and show my new blonde to. The game looked like a gi'me, just somelittle eastern team with a small student population and fan base? Then they came in and kick the livin' sh!t out of us! Death seemed a better alternative for a while! Thank God, I lived to watch them play another day!
You're only going to have one person on the line!?!? That WILL be a problem.CAA Flagship wrote:Puh-leeze. The only question mark for the 2011 season at this point will be our lineman. No, what I think he is implying is that ONLY ODU players will gain experience, no other schools will gain any experience at all.mcveyrl wrote:You're only going to have one person on the line!?!? That WILL be a problem.CAA Flagship wrote:

And I agree, that experience you gained against Chowan and Virginia Union...I mean, that can't be matched (unless you guys can scrimmage Warwick or Oscar Smith). Nothing like our guys playing against the CAA.
