Portland State @ Idaho State

Kickoff scheduled for 2:30 pm PST (3:30 pm MST) at Idaho State's Holt Arena in a battle for the Big Sky conference's cellar. The Vikings lone conference win came at Northern Colorado, whereas the Bengals are still searching for not only their first conference win, but their first win overall. Justin Engstrom, a sophomore transfer from Oregon State will start for the Vikings. Engstom is a tall, drop back type quarterback similar to Drew Hubel who is out with a right shoulder injury. Connor Kavanaugh is the backup and most likely will see action as well. While they are winless, the Bengals are coming off of a spectacular performance last week against nationally ranked and top Big Sky team, Montana, losing in the final seconds on a field goal. While the rest of the year has been forgettable, it remains to be seen if the Montana game has given the Bengals confidence to get a win over the struggling Vikings.
