Quit trying to avoid the iocaine powder visini.dbackjon wrote:I would like to say SFA, but they are Lumberjacks, so I clearly can not pick them. But Montana is in the Big Sky, so in the best UD/UMass coattail tradition, I clearly can not pick them. My Sister went to Southern Illinois, so I can clearly not pick them. My nephew (her son) is a senior at New Hampshire, so I clearly can not pick them. Appaholic promised to buy me a male hooker if App State won the NC, so I clearly can not pick them. Therefore, I want Villanova, Richmond and William & Mary to lose
That's the thing, he doesn't have to avoid it. He's spent the past two years building up a resistance to it.kalm wrote:Quit trying to avoid the iocaine powder visini.dbackjon wrote:I would like to say SFA, but they are Lumberjacks, so I clearly can not pick them. I want to see whoever plays the griz lose.
Isn't there supposed to be some part about a land war in Asia..?dbackjon wrote:I would like to say SFA, but they are Lumberjacks, so I clearly can not pick them. And never get involved with a Sicilian, dbackjon, or the griz when death is on the line.AZGrizFan wrote:Never get involved in a land war in Asia....Chizzang wrote:

The "coattail tradition" was started by every BSC team not named Montana.dbackjon wrote:I would like to say SFA, but they are Lumberjacks, so I clearly can not pick them. This is the fourth time that the CAA has gotten 4 or more teams in the playoffs (2004, 2007, 2008, 2009), I wouldn't call that "every year". In 2 of the previous 3 years that the CAA got 4 or more teams in the playoffs a CAA team won the title (2004 JMU, 2008 Richmond).CatMom wrote:I picked UNH but actually any of the CAA teams. My reason is that they get 4-5 teams in the playoffs every year and brag how great they are but then you look at the past champions and how many of them are from the CAA? I mean, really. Yeah they get 1/4 of their teams in and have pulled it off how many times? We got 1/4 of our teams in too and only 50% won. I'm happy with that. Wish I could say we'll have another SLC run like 2005 but I doubt it.
The CAA needs to get a grip and realize they haven't won very often (Hey I'm aware the SLC hasn't won any) when you consider the number of teams that are always in there.

Well put...I want UNH to lose but because they are playing Nova...otherwise, I would pick any team playing against a CAA team.BlueHen86 wrote:This is the fourth time that the CAA has gotten 4 or more teams in the playoffs (2004, 2007, 2008, 2009), I wouldn't call that "every year". You need to get a grip in the fact that you have a serious case of CAA envy.![]()
CatMom wrote:Nope, I'm from the Northeast and I'm rooting for Villanova in all this....thanks (sorry SFA fans). So maybe not all the CAA schools. If I still lived in the NE, Villanova would be the closest FCS school to my hometown.
As for envy? please. The CAA is like every other conference, it's just bigger (too big) you have great teams, good to mediocre teams and bad teams, just like everyone else. You just have more in each category.
You're right the CAA is like every other conference only bigger. It's bottom third consists of 4 teams. Most other conference's bottom third has 3 teams. The CAA's middle third has 4 teams other conferences have only 3. The four teams in the CAA's top third will all be playing in the quarters, and the 3 teams that make up the top third...oh wait, in seems that the CAA is not like every other conference.CatMom wrote:Nope, I'm from the Northeast and I'm rooting for Villanova in all this....thanks (sorry SFA fans). We'd expect nothing less!McNeese75 wrote:I respect the Griz fans and program but I have pull for the SLC this week.
