Honestly, it was like the Griz coaches have never seen the option before....

They have seen the option before, against Cal Poly in '05, and Wofford in '07...

It became almost comical in the third quarter:
12 times in a row Villa sets up in the shotgun with a lone running back to the right of the QB...
they stack the WR.s to the right side to move the safety over

they snap the ball - QB fakes hand off - defensive end bites on fake...

QB jogs NAKED left right by the end (who bit on the fake 28 consecutive times in a row) voluntarily taking himself out of the play... no adjustment was made for an entire QUARTER

NET: 15 yard run...by simply faking a handoff and running naked by the DE

It really doesn't make any sense. Whenever we were down in the first half this season, the coaches always did a great job of adjusting and putting the hammer down in the second half, especially against SDSU. It was like they already uncorked the champagne at halftime last night.

Griz didn't know quite how to act with a lead at the half.

Thanks andy, although I think you can ask WR and he will tell ya that I never acted like Villanova wasn't one of the best teams in the country. If I have to take a tea bagging then I will do it, but it's gonna by done the leader of pack not his jock grabbing minions.

I am not entirely sure why you are getting tea bagged Ursus, but I can't say I'm mad at it
