Here is the Elon Football 2010 Schedule. It was posted in the athletics weight room when I was working out the other day. The football team came in to work out right after me, and I talked to a few of the players and they seem pretty confident heading into next season.
9/4 @ Duke
9/11 Home vs. Shaw University
9/18 @ Richmond
9/25 Home vs. Samford
10/2 @ Georgia Southern
10/9 @ Appalachian State
10/16 BYE WEEK
10/23 Home vs. Wofford
10/30 @ Chattnooga
11/6 @ Citadel
11/13 Home vs. Furman
11/20 Home vs. Western Carolina
I see at least 8-3 with 7 D-1 wins. (Shaw is D2 i think) Duke, Richmond and App State should be the 3 toughest games

At Chattanooga and at The Citadel are the biggest chances for surprises. Chattanooga's improvement wasn't a fluke. and The Citadel is never to be taken lightly in the friendly confines of Johnson Hagood.

I agree. If the team doesn't show up ready to play, it might end badly for the Phoenix.

You can still laugh like a motherfucker. I saw the schedule, and I laughed, then I tried to figure out who the hell that school was.

Much like Grizzly fans when Western State showed up on our schedule.

Good schedule - tough OOC games in Duke and Richmond, but both winnable.

Shaw is an HBCU in Raleigh, NC and competes in the CIAA. They finished 8-2/5-2 in the West division last year.

Thanks.
If you're going to play a DII game, at least its an in-state team.

I can't wait for it. I'm hoping it won't snow like it did 2 years ago, when we last went to Boone. 10/9 seems a little early for snow.

Shaw is in the CIAA. At least it's not a sh!tty D.II team.
Shaw makes the playoffs fairly often if I am remembering correctly.

I'm seeing 7-1 in the SoCon, with a close game at App. We should beat Shaw, then Richmond and Duke are gunna be tough, but winnable. What are you seeing?
