I think this is a great game for the lumberjacks. Could get ugly, but hopefully we will play them tough like we did SMU last year and that confidence could lead over unto the conference.

UNI is always strong. If they get any kind of consistent QB play they'll be decent next year and they're always tough to beat in the UNI Dome.

Albany is just a terrible NEC team.

Please pass that along to your Coaches and Players. No need to worry about us. SFA should definitely focus on A&M and UNI instead.

SFA did win a postseason game and what SLC team does not embarrass themselves in the playoffs when the 'p-word' and Missoula is associated?

Similar to SFA as of the last 10 years - the Bobcats of the last - well, their entire era in Division I - have nothing to really stand on. At least SFA had some nice little runs in the 1990s, not just one to base their whole Div I history around.

FYI - the 2010 slate, particularly the A&M game have been known for quite some time.

SFA has Baylor in 2011 and SMU in 2012 per my post on KatFans.com

I didn't ask for your comment on the state of TXST playoff runs. At least we scored in Missoula and, although we lost, we at least kept it close the first half and weren't totally blown out. I'm not on here being grandiose about how magnificent we are or how we'll run through the 2010 schedule. This is about the here and now. We're not talking ancient history with players that now have corporate jobs, wives and kids.

Fucking truth. With any consistancy last year we finish with 1...maybe two losses during the regular season

Quarterfinals and semifinals in her last two appearances...plus we did not 'back in' to the playoffs ala San Marcos, who did so in 2008.

2008, 2009, I don't recall SHSU being anywhere near the playoffs. 2004 is ancient history. I said last few, I didn't say this decade. I haven't brought up 2005, as that's also passe. All those players are gone.

SHSU has a new coach and we'll start doing what we used to do best - namely special teams. Look for a much better Bearkat squad this coming year...

I expect no less and am waiting to see what happens in Huntsville with the changing of the guard. It's interesting to watch these transitions.

The 2008 crap is so old...it's brought up repeatedly and I feel anyone worth their FCS knowledge salt knew that UCA was not eligible for any football title until 2010. Regardless of the records, we had the best eligible one and that made us champions in 2008. I just wish people would leave it and move on.

Addendum: My working 4AM-noon this week isn''t helping so I'm letting it out when I'm pissed off. My sleep schedule is so disrupted it's getting to me (not that I'm not like this normally )

They just knew they were ineligible from the postseason, including SLC tournaments. We can all agree that was not the best moment for the conference, right?
