FCS Sightings

My daughter comes upstairs after getting ready for school this morning and she is wearing a Furman t-shirt - FURMAN! I tried to explain to here that it did not reflect well on her to be wearing anything associated with Furman University because the school lacks scruples and does bad things, like backing out of football contacts at the eleventh hour. She didn't listen, though, and went off to school masquerading as a purple Palladin fan.
Apparently, one of her friends has a cousin who currently attends Furman and has received an abundance of Furman gear as gifts from said cousin prompting her to give some of it away.

The CAA Committee will consult at its next regular meeting. The possible ramifications:
1. Private censure
2. Public censure
3. One year suspension from CAA fandom, including rooting for your beloved Blue Hens
4. Indefinite suspension from CAA fandom, including rooting for your beloved Blue Hens.
5. Lifetime suspension from CAA fandom, including rooting for your beloved Dukes.

Northern Arizona sighting on Anthony Bourdain'sNo Reservations show last night.
A kid was sitting at a bar in Prague drinking beer from a huge tube which held 8 liters of beer. A fancier (and apparently very much older) version of Quaker Steak's Lube Tube:

I went camping with the family this weekend. A lady and her two sons were setting up camp in the area right next to us and all three of them were wearing Villanova gear. I struck up a conversation with her and learned that she graduated from 'Nova the same year I graduated from Delaware and even knew two of my old HS buddies who played football at 'Nova (small freakin' world). The most surprising part of all was that she actually followed the football team, knew they won the National Championship and knew they should have a nice team coming back next year.

When I moved to Corpus Christi, TX, I didn't know a soul. I moved into my apartment and about a week later noticed a Georgia Southern tag in the spot next to my truck (I have a GSU tag too). Come to find out that my neighbor was a GSU grad about 3 years ahead of me.

SCBH:
You can always use that Furman gear for wiping off after dropping a deuce or after cleaning fish.
Living in the Central FL area (enormous melting pot, everybody is from somewhere else) I see FCS gear all the time. The closest though is right next door as my neighbors' kid, who I trained and supplied equipment to for years, just signed in the early signing period with the Samford baseball program as a pitcher. I'm really proud of him.

You found her!! You found the Villanova fan!! It's like a real life Waldo game and you won!

This doesnt have to do with FCS football, but one time me and the fam went on a trip to San Diego We were eating in a resterant and I was wearing a Weber State basketball shirt, and our server walked up to take our order and he looked at my shirt and said he was a Duke fan and that he will always cheer for Weber State because they beat North Carolina.
On the subject of FCS sightings, Me father and I were working up in North Ogden once, and the house next door to the one we were working on had a Montana Grizzlies Mailbox, I also saw a kid wearing a Montana State sweatshirt at a hunting expo held in Salt Lake City.

Makes our celebrations that we won the chip this year a lot more personal and tight knit. You guys just wallow in mass self pity.
